Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement APAC-wide warehousing strategy, including consolidation of existing operations and setup of new facilities in key markets
  • Lead supply chain planning for solar and BESS projects — determining when, where, and how to procure and stage key equipment such as solar panels, inverters, and battery systems
  • Design inventory holding policies that balance cost, lead time risk, and project delivery schedules
  • Conduct warehouse site selection, negotiation, and contract execution for new locations across APAC
  • Build sourcing strategies for major equipment, targeting optimal pricing through timing, volume aggregation, and supplier negotiation
  • Define logistics network design — determining optimal routing, staging points, and buffer strategies across multiple geographies
  • Coordinate closely with Procurement, Planning & Oversight (Engineering), and Planning & Control to align supply chain decisions with project pipelines and commercial timelines
  • Monitor market conditions (panel pricing trends, shipping rates, supplier capacity) and translate insights into actionable recommendations

 

Requirements 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages relevant to APAC are a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain strategy, warehousing, or planning
  • A problem-solver and creative thinker who enjoys working through ambiguity and finding unconventional approaches
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Curiosity to learn the business deeply and challenge existing assumptions
  • Experience working across multiple countries or in a regional APAC role is a plus
  • Renewables, solar, or industrial supply chain experience is valued but not required
