Analyse business processes and requirements, support and develop (if applicable) the implementation of new or enhanced functionality  as a local representative for Data and Digital, related needs (data transformation, Dashboards, process automation, low code development and others).

Maintaining the lifestyle and optimal functioning of the EDPR APAC local application system within their scope of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with Business Units to identify future needs, projects, or user stories.
• Analyse business process flows while maintaining or enhancing regional consistency.  
• Lead Business Applications projects and manage the IT software vendor or developer partner.
• Manage the Application/Developments Budget in cooperation with the Business Unit representative.
• Review users' requirements for new or enhanced functionality, perform gap analysis and identify, recommend and implement product customizations, enhancements or work-around to meet requirements. 
• Act as the lead point of contact to work with vendors, auditors and internal staff to maintain compliance with audit guidelines involving systems security and related business processes.
• Manage the Application lifecycle based on Agile methodology and agile squads.
• Assess IT infrastructure used by the application and recommend improvements to ensure quality of service or operational savings.
• Support the development to ensure alignment with the Business needs, policies, and reference architectures. Develop and manage data conversion and testing strategies.  
• Write implementation plans, install and test new systems, ensuring that the data and system work according to expectations.
• Help on the troubleshooting of critical/complex incidents or problems. 
• Ensure the resolution of vulnerabilities & permanent updated status of the application/product. 

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ experience in enhancing and improving business solution applications and 5 year’s in IT.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle, Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong working experience in Data, in particular Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure EventHub, PowerBI.
• Knowledge of databases technology like Oracle, MS SQL, mySQL, PostgreSQL and development software like Java, Java Script, .Net, Python and other low code related solutions (e.g. Appian, Outsystems)
• Knowledge of Application Integration (APIs, WebServices, Event Driven, Streaming)
• Hands on experience in Business Applications support and development
• Outstanding analytical, problem solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot system, process and data issues
