Responsibilities:

  • Handle full set of accounts and month end closing procedures, including journal posting, closing of SAP modules, account reconciliations, and variance analysis 
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly reports in accordance with Company’s accounting policies, Financial Reporting Standards, and statutory regulations 
  • Coordinate with operation team to provide business support and advice on accounting treatment 
  • Prepare monthly cashflow report and projections 
  • Prepare quarterly GST filing, tax computation and deferred tax 
  • Review journals and monthly schedules prepared by GL share service centre 
  • Prepare year-end Audited Financial Statements and Notes to Accounts 
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents and corporate secretary on all statutory requirements 
  • Support system integration and process improvement/streamlining efforts 
  • Respond to internal stakeholders’ requests or events as they occur 
  • Any other ad hoc assignments 

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree in Accountancy, CA, ACCA or equivalent 
  • At least 4 to 5 years relevant working experience 
  • Proficient in Financial Reporting Standards and taxation (GST, corporate tax, withholding tax) 
  • Audit experience is preferred 
  • Knowledge of SAP FICO will be advantageous 
  • Text BoxExperience in monthly reporting to management and variance analysis 
  • Team oriented

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Able to work under pressure and within tight timelines 
  • Possesses good communication skills
