The Finance Manager will be responsible for group consolidation and financial/management reporting, formulating and implementing group’s accounting and reporting policies and procedures to meet the group’s statutory requirements and corporate governance directives.

 

This role will also look after the APAC region entities’ finance matters for accurate and timely financial closing and reporting, to drive for better transparency in financial information in compliance within the Group’s guidelines, improving internal control procedures and governance compliance in accordance with local and international accounting standards.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for group lead and oversee a team of finance executive to perform full set of accounts and month end closing
  • Involve in producing accurate and timely monthly reports to management
  • Responsible for the coordination and implementation of all finance initiatives in the region.
  • Manage the overall financial accounting functions, including expenses, intercompany invoicing and allocations for the APAC entities.
  • Work closely with respective Finance team supporting APAC entities to drive better transparency in financial information for better rationalization of reported KPIs, business trending, financial variances and other statistical results.
  • Support in accounting system and processes implementation

 

Requirements 

  • Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent
  • At least 7 years experience in handling full sets/group consolidated accounts; preferably 2-3 years audit experience in a public accounting firm
  • Possess solid hands-on experience in preparing consolidated financial/management reports for a large group
  • Ability to work in multicultural environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams located in different geographies.
  • Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment
