Responsibilities  

 

Cross-Functional Asset & O&M Support

 

  • Act as a shared support resource across Asset Operations, Asset Management, Asset Monitoring, and Maintenance teams.
  • Support daily Operations & Maintenance (O&M) planning, including coordination of corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Assist with day-to-day operational tasks that support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of renewable energy assets.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure effective communication, alignment, and information flow across functions.

 

Asset Management Reporting & Data Handling

 

  • Support the collection, organisation, and management of asset-related data, documents, and records.
  • Assist in preparing and updating asset management reports, including operational status, performance summaries, and issue trackers.
  • Update and maintain dashboards, trackers, and logs used for performance, availability, and lifecycle monitoring.
  • Help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability across asset management and operations teams.

 

Performance Monitoring & Analytics

 

  • Use monitoring platforms and monitoring tools to support daily asset performance monitoring.
  • Assist in reviewing generation, availability, alarms, and event data to identify performance trends, anomalies, and recurring issues.
  • Support basic data analysis and visualisation to aid operational decision-making and reporting.
  • Document observations, findings, and follow-up actions arising from performance reviews.

 

O&M Process, Standards & Compliance Support

 

  • Assist in documenting and improving O&M processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of records related to safety, regulatory, and operational compliance.
  • Track key actions, obligations, defects, and close-out items arising from O&M activities, audits, and inspections.

 

Coordination & Project Support

 

  • Provide coordination support for O&M works, including task tracking, scheduling, and milestone follow-ups.
  • Assist with asset improvement initiatives, pilot projects, and ad-hoc operational studies.
  • Support meeting preparation, minutes taking, and action tracking for internal operational and asset management meetings.

 

Requirements

 

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s student in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Materials) or a related discipline. Students from other disciplines with a strong interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, or operations are welcome to apply.

Learning Opportunities

 

  • Gain a hands-on understanding of daily O&M planning and execution within a renewable energy portfolio.
  • Understand how Asset Management, Operations, Maintenance, and Monitoring functions integrate in real-world asset operations.
  • Develop working knowledge of solar PV system components, layouts, single-line diagrams, simulations, and performance reports.
  • Learn how monitoring platforms and data analytics tools are used to manage asset performance and availability.
  • Understand common PV operational issues and faults, and how they are detected, analysed, escalated, and resolved.

  • Build foundational skills in data analysis, reporting, documentation, and performance tracking.
  • Develop awareness of contracts, warranties, service levels, and lifecycle considerations in asset management.
  • Strengthen professional skills in coordination, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
