Summary

The Field Operations Senior Operator executes and coordinates field operations and maintenance tasks with increased autonomy and technical awareness. Contributes to asset performance and reliability by ensuring consistent task execution and supporting operational improvements in the field.

Responsibilities

1.Operational Support

• Carry out assigned operational tasks at site in accordance with established procedures, safety requirements, and instructions from the supervisor or manager.
•  Support routine site activities, inspections, and operational checks to ensure tasks are completed safely and accurately.

2. Basic Troubleshooting & Escalation

• Assist in identifying and resolving basic operational issues under guidance or within established procedures.
• Escalate equipment abnormalities, safety concerns, operational issues, or performance deviations to the supervisor or relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Support follow-up actions after issues are identified, based on instructions provided by the supervisor or technical team.

3. Asset Monitoring & Maintenance Support

• Monitor asset conditions and operating indicators during routine site activities. Support the execution of preventive maintenance activities by assisting with preparation, coordination, documentation, and follow-up.
• Participate in remedial works, equipment upgrades, repowering activities, or other site-related projects as assigned.

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Update task status, record field activities, and document basic performance or inspection data.
• Prepare simple and accurate updates on completed activities, site observations, and issues identified during field work.
• Ensure field records, checklists, and activity reports are completed accurately and submitted on time.

5. Continuous Improvement Support

• Provide observations and feedback from field activities to support improvements in work processes, equipment handling, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in team initiatives to improve operational practices, under the guidance of the supervisor or manager.

Requirements  

• 3-5  years of experience in field operations or technical maintenance roles.
• Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and field operations procedures.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Proficient in using technology to support operations and reporting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude toward improvement.
• Technical training or vocational certification is preferred.
• Class 3 Drivers License is a plus.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
