EDP Renewables APAC is the main subsidiary of EDP Group, a global leader in the renewable energy sector and one of the world’s largest wind producers. With its headquarters in Singapore, EDP Renewables is the leading sustainable development hub for the Asia Pacific region with activities across nine different markets. Our activities are focused on the design, development, management, and operation of renewable energy sources, namely solar, wind, as well as new technologies such as storage.

 

What you will do:

1. Internal Consulting & Problem-Solving Support

  • Support the diagnosis of business issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in gathering information through stakeholder discussions, data review, process walkthroughs, and research.
  • Support root cause analysis, option development, and preparation of practical recommendations.
  • Prepare presentations and discussion materials for business and management stakeholders.

 

2. Transformation, Digitalisation & AI Support

  • Support transformation and process improvement initiatives across the organisation.
  • Assist in mapping processes, identifying pain points, and recommending more efficient ways of working.
  • Support identification and assessment of digitalisation, automation, and AI use cases.
  • Assist in coordinating pilot or communication materials.

 

3. Project Management & Coordination

  • Support planning and tracking of strategic and operational improvement projects.
  • Coordinate follow-ups with stakeholders to ensure timely progress.
  • Support workshops, project meetings, and management updates.

 

4. Research & Insights Development

  • Conduct research on market trends, industry practices, digital tools, AI applications, and operating model benchmarks.
  • Synthesise findings into concise insights, issue briefs, and recommendation papers.

What are we looking for

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-structuring and analytical skills, comfortable decomposing ambiguous problems into clear workstreams.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to produce executive-ready materials.
  • Working fluency with AI productivity tools (for example, Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or equivalent) and a clear point of view on how to deploy them in a professional setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to prepare clear, structured materials for senior audiences.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple parallel workstreams.
  • Exposure to consulting methodologies (issue trees, MECE structuring, hypothesis-driven analysis).
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Python, no-code automation platforms (for example, Power Automate, n8n), or applied AI tooling.
  • Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, infrastructure, or business transformation.
  • Prior internship in management consulting, strategy, corporate development, or PMO.
