ASSISTANT MANAGER, QUALITY ASSURANCE

Role Summary

Reporting to the Head of HSEQ, the role of the quality executive shall be responsible to assist in formulating quality standards and regulatory requirements, analyse data gathered and plan accordingly and improve the quality process and outputs for the organisation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for document management systems & ensure compliance with group and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure the quality objectives and requirement of the organisation are met.
  • Interpret and implement quality assurance plan to all functions of the organisation.
  • Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards, monitor, measure and improve the effectiveness of the quality system and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Conduct checks on works and services to demonstrate its effectiveness with established QMS, processes and compliance with regulatory & contract requirements.
  • Conduct review in formulating and establishing operating procedures and quality goals.
  • Develop and implementation of procedures to ensure compliance and process improvement is sustained.
  • Plan and lead audits for the quality assurance and quality control.  
  • Plan and conduct quality assurance and quality control awareness related training for the project team
  • Following-up on and closing pending preventive and corrective action requests.
  • Investigate complaints and non-conformance issues
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities

 

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Improvement Associate
  • Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
  • Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases
  • Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements & ISO 9001
