Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist focused on AI & Automation Development to join our Process Automation team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI-enabled automation tools to enhance business productivity and maximize process and employee efficiency.

You will collaborate closely with internal business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, scalable, and reusable solutions. If you're interested in AI and automation development, we encourage you to apply and become part of our growing automation practice.

We are a culturally and geographically diverse team - team members are based in Portugal, Spain, and North America - and this position will support automation initiatives globally. As such, professional English (written and spoken) is required.

What you will do:

•  Design, develop, and maintain process automation solutions using tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, and others.
• Incorporate AI capabilities into automations, leveraging Azure AI Foundry.
• Monitor automation executions and continuously optimize workflow performance.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to refine requirements and develop solutions.
• Create and maintain automation project documentation (e.g. Process Design Documents) in Jira and Confluence.
• Implement and promote automation best practices across the automation lifecycle.

What are we looking for:

• Degree, Master's, or Doctorate in engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with any process automation platform (e.g. UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, etc.).
• Full professional proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of key concepts in API usage, or experience with consuming APIs.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative and comfortable working with global teams.
• Detail oriented with a commitment to high quality delivery.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and working independently when needed.
