What you will do
Role Overview:
EDPR NA Distributed Generation (EDPR DG) is a rapidly growing company dedicated to overseeing solar photovoltaic projects across the United States. Our Asset Management team optimizes system performance, generates reports, manages contracts, and oversees maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our projects.
As the Asset Management Lead, you will take ownership of asset performance across a dynamic portfolio of solar photovoltaic projects. This role requires strategic oversight, proactive problem-solving, and stakeholder management to maximize financial and operational efficiency. You will guide portfolio optimization efforts, enforce compliance, drive operational excellence, and mentor team members to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Main responsibilities:
Portfolio Performance & Optimization
• Track portfolio performance and recommend optimization strategies.
• Perform financial and technical optimization analyses of asset portfolios.
• Support and maintain project-level budgets and budget reporting. Conduct variance analysis on operating expenses to identify deviations, rectify errors, and apply lessons learned.
• Participate in ad-hoc analyses of historical and forward-looking asset performance with the Asset Management team.
Operations & Maintenance Oversight
• Provide strategic guidance on maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities to ensure maximum uptime and system efficiency.
• Supervise operational teams and service providers, ensuring high standards of execution.
• Proactively analyze system performance and implement improvements to optimize response times and reliability.
Project Integration & Expansion
• Spearhead onboarding of new assets, leading the integration process to ensure seamless transitions.
• Evaluate agreements and contractual obligations to identify risk factors and optimization opportunities.
• Oversee coordination efforts with service providers and stakeholders to maintain momentum and resolve challenges efficiently.
Stakeholder Management & Strategic Reporting
• Lead cross-functional collaborations with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to uphold reporting and compliance obligations.
• Ensure timely reporting on financial incentives, regulatory commitments, and PPA billing.
• Develop executive-level reports and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to asset and landowner obligations under project and financing agreements.
• Oversee management of business licenses, permits, regulatory filings, and compliance reporting.
• Navigate interactions with regional authorities, banks, tax assessors, and legal teams to mitigate risks.

What are we looking for
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field
• Over 5 years of proven experience in solar asset management, portfolio oversight, or renewable energy operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products preferred.

Salary hiring range: $113,210 -$141,400
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of many compensation, benefits, and other reward opportunities we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect most of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
