What you will do
Role Overview:
The Project Development Analyst is an exciting early‑career role at the forefront of the utility‑scale renewable energy industry, supporting the development of wind, solar, and battery storage projects across their full lifecycle. This fast‑paced, collaborative position is embedded within project teams and works closely with experienced development, engineering, legal, finance, and real estate professionals. Analysts support projects from early‑stage land acquisition and stakeholder engagement through permitting, interconnection, and preparation for construction. This role is well‑suited for highly motivated, detail‑oriented individuals seeking hands‑on responsibility, exposure to complex infrastructure projects, and strong professional growth opportunities in renewable energy.

Main responsibilities:
- Support the development of large‑scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects from early‑stage development through permitting and into construction
- Advance projects through development stage‑gates, tracking milestones, risks, and deliverables across an active project portfolio
- Represent the Company in the field by working with project teams, landowners, and external stakeholders
- Support the creation, negotiation, amendment, and administration of land agreements, including options, leases, amendments, purchases, easements and crossing agreements
- Process and track land acquisition documents, payments, and recordkeeping in internal systems
- Coordinate community outreach and stakeholder engagement activities
- Assist with the selection, contracting, and management of external consultants, including land agents, permitting consultants, and community engagement contractors
- Create and compile documentation, commission studies, and support efforts to obtain project permits
- Create, update, and maintain project GIS maps, databases, schedules, and trackers
- Support efforts to secure maintain compliance with transmission and interconnection agreements with utilities and transmission providers
- Coordinate inputs across internal teams to price projects for commercial offtake
- Support the preparation of bids and compliance with contracts with power purchasers, including utilities and commercial & industrial customers
- Participate in project meetings, capturing notes, action items, and follow‑ups
- Conduct land, market, regulatory, and project‑specific research to inform decisions
- Support internal reporting, portfolio tracking, and management updates
- Perform additional duties as required to support successful project execution and team objectives

What are we looking for
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Political Science, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
- 0 – 2 years of progressively responsible project management experience in energy or a related industry
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (particularly Excel)
- Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise (Preferred)
- Valid driver's license
Travel:
Up to 50%

Physical demands & working conditions:

- Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment
- Walking: Ability to walk .5 to 2 miles per day, including across unpaved and rough surfaces when on project sites.
- Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written verbal, diagram, or scheduled form
- Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds
- Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
