What you will do:
The Transfer Pricing Senior Associate will operate at Corporate Level and will support effective management of transfer pricing matters across the EDP Group. The role provides support in ensuring compliance with transfer pricing policies and regulations at a global level. This includes contributing to the development, monitoring and implementation of transfer pricing policies and supporting the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation across more than 25 jurisdictions in Europe, North America, LATAM and APAC.
The role also provides technical support in transfer pricing controversies and other transfer pricing related procedures, such as Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs) and Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs), and contributes to strategic transfer pricing projects aimed at mitigating tax risk and ensuring alignment with international best practices.
General responsibilities:
- Support, monitor and oversee the execution of global transfer pricing policies, ensuring consistent application and ongoing compliance across all geographies.
- Prepare, maintain and update transfer pricing documentation in-house, ensuring compliance with local requirements in more than 25 jurisdictions in Europe, North America, LATAM and APAC, including the coordination and management of external advisors where required.
- Monitor developments in the transfer pricing legal and regulatory landscape (OECD Guidelines, BEPS initiatives, EU proposals and relevant court cases) and translate these developments into concrete actions and governance measures for the Group.
- Provide support during local transfer pricing audits and enquiries, as required.
- Support the calculation of EDP Group management fees and review and evaluate alternative calculation methodologies to ensure alignment with market best practices and support their implementation.
- Support transfer pricing related procedures, including Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs) and Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs).
- Work closely with business units and other functional groups (Finance, HR, Operations, Legal, etc.) to understand new business activities and assess the related transfer pricing opportunities, risks and tax implications, providing technical advice as required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of specific transfer pricing projects aimed at reducing tax risk for the Group (e.g. financial transactions, development services, intercompany services).
- Analyse and address transfer pricing implications arising from corporate restructurings and transformation initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as required.

What are we looking for:
1. Academic Skills:
- University Degree and Graduate Degree (includes Master or other graduate level degrees) in Business & Management, Finance or related technical field.
- Master's degree will be a plus.
2. Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in Transfer Pricing, preferably gained in a Big Four firm, reputable law firm or in-house tax analyst of multinational company.
3. Specific Knowledge:
- Solid knowledge and strong understanding of Transfer Pricing concepts, International Taxation and European tax law.
- Strong and comprehensive knowledge and expertise in Transfer Pricing practice.
- Strong Excel skills (Power Query skills is a plus).
- Experience working with Databases (e.g. Bloomberg), Alteryx,
- Experience in SAP is an advantage.
4. Languages:
- Fluent English Level (Oral and Writing) is mandatory. Other are a plus.
5. Skills:
