What you will do:

You will have the opportunity to work on strategic and high impact projects for EDP across Europe:

 

  • Strategic & Business Development Support
  • Support strategic projects for the European region: assess strategic options, scenarios and trade-offs, translating complex inputs into clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Conduct market, financial, and competitive analyses to support strategic decision-making across Europe.
  • Prepare business cases, strategic assessments and executive presentations for EDP Group’s C-level leadership.

 

  • Cross-functional transformation
  • Contribute to strategic cross-functional, high-impact initiatives, including key business challenges, operating model shifts and high-stake decision making.
  • Act as internal consultant to regional and country teams on operational and strategic requests, including profitability assurance, portfolio excellence, efficiency, asset rotation and pipeline monitoring.
  • Contribute to emerging growth and value-creation topics such as BESS, hybridization, grid constraints, data centers, Agri-PV, electrification, market intelligence and GenAI-enabled ways of working.
  • Monitor and challenge project pipelines across in-house developments, while supporting the assessment of M&A and co-development opportunities from a strategic and commercial perspective.

What are we looking for:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Economics, Engineering or similar, with a strong academic record.
  • Preferably 1–2 years of working experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business development, energy, infrastructure, finance or project-based roles; candidates with no work experience can also be considered based on outstanding academic and non-academic CV.
  • Fluent Spanish and English, spoken and written; Portuguese is a strong advantage
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail; good problem-solving skills, critical and constructive thinking.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel capabilities; ability to use AI to improve productivity and quality of work.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
