Evaluate the estimated energy production and propose performance improvements of solar PV and hybrid plants, as well as technical monitoring in accordance with the organization's strategy, technical standards and environmental regulations to maximize the organization´s profitability through energy production. Provide energy assessment and analytical support to the EDPR development and M&A teams.




1.    Undertake and manage PVsyst (or other PV modelling software) simulations for the development stage of projects worldwide. 
2.    Define and monitor measurement campaigns, analyze on-site measurements and perform solar resource assessments.
3.    Analyze current PV portfolios performance to update PV modelling assumptions.
4.    Analysis and modelling of new hybrid sites (e.g. wind/solar hybrid sites).
5.    Create templates and tools to be used by the whole Energy Assessment team.
6.    Take part in Due Diligence analysis, providing energy assessment support on acquisition processes.
7.    Coordinate projects assessments and represent the Energy Assessment department on internal and external meetings.




Degree in Engineering or Physics with Master’s in Renewable Energy or related field.



1+ years of experience in technical roles in the Solar PV energy sector is desirable



•    Detailed knowledge of simulation software including PVsyst.
•    Good knowledge of weather models and satellite data treatment.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and programming skills (R, Python or Matlab) is a plus.
•    Familiar with different PV generating technologies and constituent components (modules, inverters, trackers).
•    Knowledge in high level design of PV plants, including electrical configurations and layout designs is beneficial.



•    Fluent English spoken and written. 
•    Fluent Spanish spoken and written. 



•    Autonomous, adaptable and multi-skilled.
•    Proactive and being able to prioritize workload.
•    Ability to perform duties in a collaborative and multi-national working environment.
•    Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
