MISSION

 

Provide Centralize Support to operating assets in Reliability assessment to acknowledge Company state and Index, and provide feedback to Company for measuring actions result and support to standardize best practice in O&M activities and processes. Provide as well solid input data to help platforms in budgeting, cost estimation, and project business case building concerning expecting O&M costs inside EDPR policy asset exploitation, quality requirements, and  safety rules in force in accordance with Director of Department.

 

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES 

 

  1. COMPONENTS RELIABILITY STUDIES - Realize reliability and statistical studies for Main components of Assets in all EDPR geographies applying Corp. Application Weibull++, and other Applications and programs ad-hoc in order to feed inputs for budgeting, Opex project estimation, etc. Coordinate as well these kinds of studies which may be supported by Specialized Consultants like Certification Bodies and Universities.
  2. COMPONENTS RELIABILITY MODELS – Create, update and/or coordinate Components Reliability models based in EDPR fleet Failure Rate data to use and apply in any country or project with budgeting or busines case construction purpose
  3. SUPPORT PROPER MAINTENANCE MODELS EXTENSION TO THE ASSETS: – Support the local teams for the implementation of autonomous models M3/Selfperformance, assuring the necessary information, inspections, and capabilities to face new model.
  4. PROCEDURES STANDARIZATION AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS DEVELOPMENT –Develop OSP (Operating Standard Procedures) requested in Installations applying best practices of the industry and support deployment and application inside O&M activities in all EDPR geographies. . 
  5. SUPPORT PROPER MAINTENANCE AND QA/QC PLANNING TO ASSETS: – Support the local teams for implementation and improving of QA/QC plan and standard life ensurement program in installations. 
  6. IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES / HEALTH MONITORING GUIDES - Define operational improvement initiatives under the scope of O&M, Guidelines, Specifications, KPIs, and working instructions to guarantee EDPR maintenance capabilities, and follow up quality and health of assets.
  7. QUALITY - Ensures together with the quality managers that the operations are carried out with the highest possible quality
  8. COMPANY POLICY AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE - Understand and support applying policies to prevent occupational hazards, environment, and quality to ensure implementation and compliance on tasks under their responsibility.

 

REQUIRED PROFILE

 

ACADEMIC LEVEL

Bachelor’s degree of Engineering.

 

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

3 years in power generation operations and maintenance. Utility-scale transformers and overhead lines experience preferred (substations and overhead lines).

 

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE

  • Expert knowledge of O&M services, leading working teams and developing working instructions.
  • Expert knowledge of maintenance techniques, maintenance planification, and technical office in energy industry maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of, and ability to apply pertinent industry standards and codes.
  • Knowledge of wind turbines technology and wind energy is valued
  • Knowledge of PV plants technology and solar energy is valued.

 

LANGUAGES

English language proficiency. Other languages are valued.

 

5.    SKILLS / COMPETENCES

  • Proficiency with MS-Office, SAP and databases development and management.
  • Proficiency with Weibull++ Software.
  • Willingness and ability to international travel as needed (aprox. 30% of business time).
  • Ability and willingness to provide support outside of regular business hours as needed.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform duties in a collaborative working environment.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements at project locations in order to inspect equipment or collect information.
  • Ability to perform and review performance calculations for operations like availability, reliability, etc
