What you will do:

Coordinate specialized support to the activities of installation and maintenance of meteorological stations according to the internal procedures and applicable legislation in order to obtain meteorological data for the evaluation of the resource that allows the development of the strategic plan of the projects in terms of safety, quality, costs and time.

Installation, commissioning, maintenance and dismantling of meteorological stations (permanent, development, solar stations, Site Callibration, Power Curve Validation, or other specific instrumentation

1. Support to Energy Assessment, Business Units and local E&C Local in the definition of position of new towers as well as support in the preliminary feasibility study of installation through field stakeouts.
2. Technical definition of the installation, by means of the evaluation of the characteristics of the project and the applicable legal prescriptions.
3. Supervision of the correct execution of the installation and process monitoring according to the internal procedures and applicable legislation, including careful tracking of the compliance of the safety measures in the work and quality during the construction phases.
4. For permanent towers, management of the process of commissioning and transfer to O&M.
5. Process internal documentation management through corporate tools.
6. Technical collaboration for the fulfillment of the requirements for obtaining permits and agreements for the installation.

7. Economic control of suppliers (purchase request management, payment confirmation, etc.)
8. Internal reporting management.

What are we looking for:

1. Required Education

• Degree in engineering, meteorology, physics, math, or similar.
• Valuable Master's Degree related to Renewable Energy or "Meteorology and Geophysics".

2. Required Professional Experience

• At least 2 years experience in meteorological station management, in particular regarding the phases of installation, start-up, maintenance and data processing.
• Experience in negotiation of technical and economic conditions of execution with suppliers and installers, as well as in the recruitment of human resources and material for the installation of the meteorological tower

3. Valuable knowledge.

• Experience in the renewable energy assets (mainly wind and solar).
• Working knowledge of standard industry software used for wind resource assessment.
• Strong overall computer skills and ability to learn multiple software tools:
  • Statistical analysis of data
  • MS Office Word/Excel/PowerBi, AutoCad, etc

• Training in metallic structural calculations.

4. Languages.

• Ability to read, write and speak Spanish and English fluently.
• Portuguese is a plus

5. Others

• Willingness and ability to international travel.
• Ability to multi-task and perform duties in a collaborative working environment.
• Proactive and resolutive skills.
