GIS ANALYST INTERNSHIP

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Search for information in corporate repositories to feed the corporate GIS platform
• Identification, analyse and testing of information provided by the owners of the different business areas in their different versions of the data's life.
• Digitalization, homogenize and standaridize of EDPR internal data throught ArcGIS Pro to be upload in Corporate GIS Solution.
• GIS analysis and reports. Detection of automation to accelerate processes.
• Implement widgets and developments on ESRI platforms
• Short geoprocesses developments in python.
• Manage geographic information: shapefile, KMZ, GDB, etc.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Science: Engineering, Surveying Engineering, Topography or similar.
• Master’s degree and/or certification in GIS and/or ArcGIS.

LANGUAGES

• English B2.
• Another language would be a plus, such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, etc.

IT SKILLS

• ArcGIS Pro
• Python
• ArcGIS Online desirable
• AutoCAD desirable

OTHER SKILLS

• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail. 
• Ability to quickly learn complex material.
• Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to work in multicultural environment and readiness to work with different stakeholders.
• Ability to perform duties in a collaborative, multi-national working environment.
• Methodical and multi-tasking skills.
• Problems solving and open-minded attitude.
