We are seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist focused on AI & Automation Development to join our Process Automation team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain process & data management solutions using Appian, UiPath, and AI tools to enhance business productivity and maximize process and employee efficiency.


You will collaborate closely with internal business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, scalable, and reusable solutions. We are a culturally and geographically diverse team - team members are based in Portugal, Spain, and North America - and this position will support automation initiatives globally. As such, professional English (written and spoken) is required.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain process automation and data management solutions using tools such as Appian, UiPath, and Power Automate.
  • Incorporate AI capabilities into automations, leveraging Azure AI Foundry.
  • Monitor solutions and continuously optimize workflow performance
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to refine requirements and develop solutions.
  • Create and maintain project documentation in Jira and Confluence.
  • Implement and promote best practices across the automation lifecycle

What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  •  1+ years of hands-on experience with any process automation or application development platform (e.g. Appian, UiPath, Power Automate, etc.)
  • Full professional proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of key concepts in API usage, or experience with consuming APIs.
  • Strong proficiency with modern AI tools.
  • Experience with developing automations in UiPath is highly valued.
  • UiPath Developer Associate or Developer Professional Learning Paths.
  • Experience with Azure AI Foundry.
  • Experience with relational databases.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Programming experience in any language.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working with global teams.
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to high quality delivery.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and working independently when needed.
  • Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary.
