Technology & Innovation Analyst - Power Networks

The Center of Excellence - Innovation Networks is strengthening its team by recruiting a Technology & Innovation Analyst - Power Networks.
What you will do:
- Monitor technology developments and anticipate market trends that may significantly impact EDP's position in Power Networks.
- Conduct in‑depth technical analyses on emerging technologies affecting Distribution and Transmission grids. Propose new business concepts to be developed and tested as potential internal ventures.
- Structure business models and assess the commercial attractiveness of emerging technologies.
- Evaluate technology feasibility and market readiness of potential investment targets.
- Perform technical due diligence for relevant startup and technology companies.
- Support EDP's Startup Engagement Programs.
- Execute innovation projects in collaboration with other areas within EDP Inovação.

What are we looking for:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or other related fields.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of technology development processes.
- Solid analytical skills with strategic and business‑oriented thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to deliver rigorous, balanced results on time, while managing multiple themes/projects with agility.
- Strong team spirit, openness, and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders across diverse topics.
- Excellent soft skills: creativity, communication, curiosity, collaboration and proactivity.
- Fluency in English.
