Materials & Supply Chain Specialist

We are looking for a Materials & Supply Chain Specialist to join our Logistics team and play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning, monitoring, and management of materials, contributing to operational availability, stock control, cost optimization, and continuous improvement of logistics processes.
This role is central to ensuring an integrated, analytical, and service-oriented approach to materials management, working closely with business areas, Procurement, Logistics Operations, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support operational continuity and supply chain efficiency.
What you will do:
- Monitor material requirements from business areas, ensuring alignment between operational demand, stock levels, and supply capacity.
- Analyze consumption data, stock levels, purchase orders, lead times, pricing, and supplier performance, identifying deviations, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor the availability of critical materials, anticipating risks related to stock shortages, excess inventory, or supply constraints, and proposing corrective or preventive actions.
- Support material planning through the analysis of parameters, consumption history, demand forecasts, lead times, and demand behavior.
- Identify supply chain risks, including delays, supplier dependency, price fluctuations, logistical limitations, demand changes, or market constraints.
- Develop and monitor risk mitigation plans in collaboration with Procurement, Logistics Operations, business areas, and suppliers, ensuring greater predictability and operational continuity.
- Monitor performance indicators related to material availability, stock levels, lead time compliance, operational efficiency, costs, and service quality.
- Analyze logistics and supply processes, proposing improvements to simplify workflows, reduce waste, eliminate rework, and increase efficiency.
- Promote the continuous improvement of material management processes through the use of data, digital tools, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure a responsive and solution-oriented service approach towards internal clients, providing appropriate follow-up on critical operational needs.
- Work collaboratively with Procurement teams, warehouses, planning, operations, suppliers, and other stakeholders, contributing to a more efficient, resilient, and service-oriented supply chain.

What we are looking for:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Industrial Management and Logistics, Engineering and Supply Chain Management, Distribution Management and Logistics, Management and related fields.
- Experience in materials management, planning, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or similar functions.
- Knowledge of supply processes, stock management, material planning, procurement, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data, KPIs, and decision-support tools.
- Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, advanced Excel, or other management and data analysis tools will be valued.
- Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues, and propose practical and operationally oriented solutions.
- Strong focus on efficiency, cost control, continuous improvement, and service quality.
- Good organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage priorities and multiple topics simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven profile.
