The Digital Corporate BEFs App Dev & Maint team of DGU is intends to strengthen its team by hiring an IT Product Owner - HR Systems.

 

What you will do:

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and evolution of software solutions, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, security, and reliability.
  • Act as a technical authority, contributing to architectural decisions, development standards, and long-term system sustainability.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating business needs into well-defined requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Balance business value, technical debt, and risk when defining priorities and delivery scope.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor delivery activities, ensuring predictable execution aligned with agreed timelines and objectives.
  • Manage scope, dependencies, risks, and delivery trade-offs in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication between business, technical, and operational teams, acting as a single point of alignment.
  • Oversee production support activities, including incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
  • Drive quality assurance practices, including code reviews, testing strategies, and release readiness.
  • Support system continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best practices and innovation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation, reporting, and delivery transparency for stakeholders.

What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or other areas of training relevant to the position.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in software development and maintenance, within complex, enterprise-scale or business-critical environments.
  • Experience in process flows, particularly in the area of Human Resources.
  • Proven experience combining hands-on technical responsibilities with product ownership and/or project delivery activities.
  • Solid experience across the end-to-end software lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design through development, deployment and production support.
  • Demonstrated experience in backlog ownership and prioritization, translating business needs into clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Hands-on involvement in delivery planning, coordination, and tracking, including scope, timeline, dependency, and risk management.
  • Strong experience in managing and evolving legacy systems, balancing stability, technical debt reduction, and new feature delivery.
  • Proven track record of resolving complex technical and delivery issues, including incident management and root cause analysis.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum / Kanban environments, often acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated contribution to technical and product decision-making, including trade-off analysis and prioritization aligned with business value.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, facilitating alignment between business, technology, and operational teams.
  • Previous experience mentoring developers or acting as a technical or delivery lead is strongly preferred.
