Data & AI Strategy and Governance Specialist

The Digital GEM IT OT Data & AI Mgmt area is looking to recruit a Data & AI Strategy and Governance Specialist.

What you will do:

• Supervise and support the implementation of Data & AI Strategy, Governance and Quality policies, processes and roles aligned with organization ambitious goals;
• Create and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation for all data & AI Strategy and Governance initiatives, changes, and implementations;
• Work closely with Data Owners to define data governance standards and policies;
• Supports and coaches Data Owners and Stewarts on data governance principles and standards and ensures proficiency in Data Management tools;
• Ensures data is managed according to principles, guidelines and processes defined;
• Monitor and improve data quality across the organization;
• Develop and maintain data quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, systems engineering, business management, or related field
•  At least 3 years' specific experience in data management projects;
• Experience designing and implementing analytical data systems, as a data engineer. Real time data processing experience is a plus;
• Microsoft/Azure ecosystem knowledge is a plus;
• Experience of:
  • Working in a data office, data governance or data management role;
  • Implementing data & AI governance glossaries, data dictionaries, data catalogues in reference Data Governance Tools (e.g. Purview);
  • Designing and/or implementing data & AI policies and standards, and measuring adherence;
  • Data quality definition, implementation, monitoring and remediation.
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English. Additional languages are a plus;
• Strong knowledge of data management and data governance best practices (DAMA);
• Knowledge on the definition, implementation and management of the AI Models lifecycle (AI Governance) and productization using MLOPs is a plus;
• Experience in working in an enterprise data model definition;
• Knowledge of ethical and regulatory risks in relation to AI;
• Strong knowledge on the implementation of data pipelines and related technologies such as SQL, Databricks or DataFactory;
• Energy Markets business awareness/business domain knowledge (a plus);
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
• Proactive, autonomous, and resilient, with experience in global, multi-project environments.
• Skilled in value realization, collaboration, change management, and using collaboration tools to maintain documentation.
