Mission

To manage and lead energy assessment analysis for a group of projects, including data management, site  design and optimization, met campaigns modeling and production assessments.

 

Main accountabilities: 

1. To manage and lead subcontracted energy assessment activities for approximately 50+ projects and 100+  met towers.
2. To perform and to outsource energy assessment analysis, including statistical analysis of data, wind flow  nmodeling, technical loss evaluation, and uncertainty analysis.
3. To define and to survey met mast operation, and especially regarding quality of measurement and  compliant with applicable rules.
4. Provides analytic support for turbine suitability process.
5. Participates in the monthly data validation and troubleshoots sensor quality.
6. Provides site design and layout-optimization support.
7. Provides met campaign designs and coordinates with logistics and development on the implementation  of campaigns.
8. On-Site visit to open areas in countries worldwide.
9. Supports Development team in prospecting process.
10. Provides analytic support for commercial RFP process and financial pro forma models.
11. Specialization programming, remote sensing, CFD, and satellite imaginary and data recovery.
12. Additional duties as required.
13. Attend technical forums and International Committees.

 

Requirements

Qualification:  BS degree in Engineering, Meteorology, or a related field. MS preferred

Experience: +1 to 5 years performing energy assessment tasks.
2. Specific requirements:
- Proficient knowledge of Wind resource techniques, Microsoft Office software; a.i programming in 
Python. Statistical methods. GIS tools
