We are looking for an Environmental Laboratory Analyst – Water Quality to join our team and play a key role in water quality monitoring activities, supporting laboratory analysis, environmental assessment, and technical reporting.

 

This role is central to ensuring the accurate analysis and interpretation of water quality data, supporting environmental monitoring activities and compliance with quality standards. The successful candidate will contribute to laboratory and field activities through analytical expertise, technical rigor, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

 

What you will do:

  • Perform water sampling activities in rivers, reservoirs, and other environmental monitoring locations;
  • Conduct laboratory analysis of collected samples according to accredited procedures and defined analytical parameters;
  • Apply a range of chemical and instrumental analytical techniques for water quality assessment;
  • Analyse and interpret laboratory results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards;
  • Prepare technical reports and support environmental monitoring activities;
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in laboratory and field activities.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or related fields;
  • Preferably 2–5 years of experience in environmental or water quality laboratories;
  • Strong motivation for laboratory-based work in the field of water quality monitoring;
  • Solid knowledge of laboratory chemistry techniques and analytical methods;
  • Experience with instrumental and bench analytical techniques;
  • Good data analysis, interpretation, and reporting skills;
  • Proficiency with standard computer tools for data processing and reporting;
  • Team-oriented mindset and good collaboration skills;
  • Availability to occasionally participate in field sampling campaigns at locations distant from the laboratory.
