General Description

EDPR is leading the energy transition, targeting to have 100% renewable energy generation by 2030 (“All green”). Between 2023-2026 we aspire to add > 4GW/year of renewable capacity, doubling its current footprint in both solar and wind. For wind specifically, EDPR plan to install 5GW between 2023-2026.

Given the growth ambition, a well-planned WTG procurement strategy is crucial for its success, and hence we are embarking on a strategic global sourcing effort with the development of a new Global Procurement team, together with the introduction of an operating model aimed at achieving strong long-term partnerships with selected world class highly qualified suppliers of WTGs (Original Equipment Manufacturers or “OEMs”).

The Global Procurement WTG Associate will play a key role to contribute in the development and execution of such ambitious strategy, aiming for the long-term global sourcing of WTGs.

The Global Procurement WTG Associate will assist the Global Procurement WTG Associate Director in any necessary initiatives and wind turbine procurement activities for a given region(s) of responsibility. This will include supporting and executing end to end tender processes and negotiations, involvement in transversal tasks such as process & procedures definition-implementation and building up strategic info data bases.

The Global Procurement WTG Associate will create a sustainable competitive advantage for the company and maximize value throughout the development of a wide range of relationships with the OEMs, relevant market/industry stakeholders and the internal areas of EDPR organization.
