MISSION

 

Contribute to develop EDPR vision of the electricity markets and regulatory frameworks and develop analysis to support strategic decisions.

 

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

1- Market and regulatory analysis - Monitor the regulatory and electricity market environment in existing EDPR Europe geographies (being responsible for several of them) and potential new geographies:

 

  1. Follow up regulatory developments with impact on company operations. Identify risks and potential improvement opportunities to help building company’s position and policy asks.
  2. Support local regulatory leads and country managers in the response to consultations and participation in sectorial associations.
  3. Propose and conduct with the support of the team the necessary analysis to quantify the impacts on the portfolio of EDPR of different regulatory proposals both at national and European (EU) level to assess risks and opportunities.

 

2- Revenue Modelling:

 

  1. Develop remuneration models for wind and PV assets in different geographies: PPA’s and CfD.
  2. Perform storage remuneration forecasts including the development of models and methodologies to forecasts different services’ prices and volumes, as well as the optimization of assets performance.

 

REQUIRED PROFILE

 

 

i.            ACADEMIC LEVEL

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration

 

ii.           REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE  

  • At least 6 years in an industrial/consulting company in a similar role or in departments linked to strategy, regulation or energy planning.

 

iii.          SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of electricity sector and regulatory functioning.
  • Regulated remuneration schemes/PPAs and storage revenue modelling.
  • Phython and/or other data analytics tools

 

iv.          LANGUAGES

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Other EU language is a plus.

 

v.           SKILLS / COMPETENCES

  • Strong analytical skills, well-rounded modelling capabilities
  • Proficient communication skills
