What you will do:
As a Consultant within Procurement Excellence, you will play a key role in driving high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that support EDP's strategic priorities. Acting at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will contribute to the definition, coordination, and delivery of complex projects, while ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders and geographies.
You will be expected to bring a structured, PMO-driven approach to managing initiatives, ensuring robust planning, governance, and delivery discipline. In parallel, you will actively contribute to shaping procurement strategy, improving processes, and strengthening capabilities across the function.
This role is suited for someone who combines strategic thinking with execution excellence and is motivated to contribute to high-impact initiatives supporting EDP's leadership in the energy transition.
General responsibilities:
- Leading and supporting transversal, strategic projects across Procurement and other business areas
- Coordinating with senior stakeholders across regions and functions, facilitating alignment and decision-making
- Developing insights and materials to support executive-level communication and decision-making
- Supporting procurement governance forums and ensuring consistency across key decision points
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and digital transformation efforts.

What are we looking for:
1. Academic Skills:
- University Degree and Graduate Degree in in Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree will be a plus.
2. Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 8-9 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably gained in the procurement, energy, or infrastructure sectors (experience in renewables industry is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in strategic PMO roles and/or leading cross-functional, high-impact projects.
- Proven ability to structure complex topics and drive end-to-end project execution with a strategic mindset.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership.
3. Specific Knowledge:
- Strong and comprehensive knowledge and expertise in procurement practice.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
- knowledge and experience in PMO methodology for project management.
4. Languages:
- Fluent English Level (Oral and Writing) is mandatory. Other are a plus.
5. Skills:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate information and data into actionable insights.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Proactive, hands-on attitude with strong ownership, accountability, and drive for excellence
- Resilient team player with high ethical standards and integrity, able to perform in demanding environments
- Fast learner with ambition and motivation to grow in a dynamic, purpose-driven organization
