Social Media and Digital Communications Specialist

The Communication team of EDP is looking to recruit a Social Media and Digital Communications Specialist for the Digital Communication area.

What you will do:

• Overseeing the editorial calendar for both global and local (in Portugal) corporate social networks;
• Categorizing and publishing content using the Sprinklr platform - training will be provided for this purpose;
• Engaging with the community and monitoring interactions on these channels;
• Develop clear and strategic digital communication plans in collaboration with the creative agency;
• Coordinating global communication strategies with local teams in different regions;
• Ensuring the effective implementation and optimization of best practices in social media management;
• Writing communication briefings for social media content creation and familiar with social media content creation management workflows with creative digital agencies.

What are we looking for:

• Degree in Management, Marketing or other courses relevant to the position;
• Between 3 and 5 years' experience in digital communication, essentially in writing;
• Digital savy - ease of working with Social Media platforms (preferably LinkedIn, Meta and Youtube) and other digital platforms that complement day-to-day activities (eg Sprinklr);
• Strategic thinking for designing communications plans based on an internal briefing;
• Communication project management skills dealing with internal clients and other communication teams;
• Good time management and autonomy to adapt to different and urgent requests;
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (both spoken and written);
• Creative mind - specially in writing and the ability to create effective solutions for social media content.
