Procurement Specialist

What you will do
As part of the Global Business Services – EDP Global Solutions area, you will support procurement and sourcing activities across the organization, focusing on technical and commercial optimization:
- Collaborate with business units to identify needs and propose technically and economically optimized solutions.
- Aggregate requirements from multiple units and propose advantageous procurement strategies.
- Prepare and manage tender processes and market consultations across the EDP Group.
- Support supplier selection, market analysis, and risk assessment related to procurement activities.
- Analyze received proposals and lead negotiations with suppliers, covering technical, commercial, and contractual aspects.
- Utilize digital tools for electronic procurement and negotiation processes.
- Prepare technical-commercial opinions and acquisition proposals based on technical, economic, and risk information.
- Conduct benchmarking analyses of goods and services, applying best practices in sourcing.
- Participate in negotiations for international projects
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Between 3 and 5 years of professional experience, preferably with negotiation processes in IT or related sectors.
- Proficiency in Office 365 tools.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with European Commission-funded projects or technical procurement projects is a plus.
Employment type: Full-Time – Fixed Term Contract (6–9 months)
