Procurement Specialist

The Supply Services department is looking for a Procurement Specialist

What you will do:

1. Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLCM):

• Ensure proper supplier registration, supporting different regions, businesses, and their specific needs.
• Oversee the entire supplier lifecycle, from selection to contract closure.
• Ensure global alignment of SLCM processes, meeting the requirements of Platforms, Regions, and BEFs.
• Monitor and control various BPOs and systems involved in this process.

2. Critical Supplier Management:

• Conduct assessments and performance evaluations of critical suppliers within the assigned region(s).
• Monitor supplier performance and notify Regions, Platforms, and BEFs of necessary corrective actions.
• Prepare regular reports on supplier performance and SLCM activities.

3. Process Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement in supplier lifecycle management.
• Leverage supplier management tools and technologies to automate processes and enhance operational visibility.
• Implement the global SLCM strategy, aligned with GBS objectives.

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Management, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or another relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in multinational companies, preferably in supplier lifecycle activities (SLCM).
• Knowledge of best practices in Supplier Lifecycle Management, including selection, registration, onboarding, performance management, development, audits/assessments, supplier qualification, and contract closure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to implement improvements and optimize processes (Focus: efficiency/cost reduction).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders at different hierarchical levels on a global scale.
• Advanced English skills (spoken and written); Spanish knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SAP.
• Self-starter, proactive, and empathetic profile with the ability to work effectively in global teams
