Within our electricity transmission and distribution division—the Networks Platform—we manage critical energy infrastructure and operations across Portugal, Spain, and Brazil. As a Networks Platform Strategy Consultant, you will be a key driver of our strategic planning and decision-making processes across our multi-country footprint. You will act as an internal consultant, translating market intelligence, sector shifts and organizational settings into actionable business insights. By partnering closely with teams across the organization, you will optimize platform performance, shape investment policies, and uncover new avenues for value creation. You will work closely with senior leadership teams and contribute to strategic discussions that shape the future of the Networks Platform .This role demands an analytical problem-solver who pairs sharp economic foresight with structured communication and top-tier stakeholder management.
Strategy department is looking for a Networks Platform Strategy Consultant.
What you will do:
- Strategic Planning: Shape the Platform's strategic narrative and help coordinate regular reviews of the Strategic Action Plan with regional teams in Portugal, Spain, and Brazil,
- Investment Optimization: Collaborate with finance and other teams across the organization to develop a CAPEX prioritization framework and optimize overarching investment policies,
- Economic Analysis: Conduct comprehensive economic analyses of high-value investment projects to forecast and maximize profitability,
- Value Creation: Identify and assess new business models, inorganic growth options, and strategic performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress,
- Project Leadership: Participate in consultant-style priority projects and ad-hoc analyses focused on high-stakes financial, commercial, and economic challenges,
- Market Intelligence: Collect and synthesize market data, analyze macroeconomic and policy trends, and benchmark peer performance to support executive decision-making.

What are we looking for:
- Bachelor's degree (Bologna or Pre-Bologna Licenciatura) in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field,
- 3+ years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, investment banking, or a similar high-impact role,
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint (executive storytelling),
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear recommendations,
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and collaborate effectively within diverse, cross-border teams,
- Prior exposure to the energy sector, specifically electricity distribution or utilities, is highly advantageous.
