Market Operations Specialist

Residential Billing department is looking for a Market Operations Specialist
What you will do:
- Ensure billing of network access for electricity retailers.
- Guarantee the billing of regulated and non-regulated services, as well as the processing of service quality compensations.
- Define and optimize operational procedures, including functional specification and acceptance testing of support systems.
- Monitor the billing process, ensuring compliance with SLAs and applicable regulations.
- Implement performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for activity monitoring and reporting.
- Manage BPO activities, ensuring adherence to procedures, quality standards, and operational efficiency.

What are we looking for:
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Management, Business ,Industrial Engineer or another field relevant to the role;
- Up to 6 years of professional experience;
- Process management and automation, including operational control.
- Requirements definition for the implementation of information systems, including validation and acceptance (preferably in Agile environments).
- Implementation of KPIs and dashboards for activity monitoring and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, with experience in reporting and data analysis tools (advanced Excel, Power BI, etc.).
- Knowledge of SAP systems (preferably SAP IS-U) and experience in managing activities under a BPO model (procedure definition, monitoring, quality control, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Portuguese electricity sector, its stakeholders, and key regulatory guidelines
- Proactivity and autonomy in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Analytical thinking to interpret data, identify anomalies, and support decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Teamwork, working collaboratively with IT, operations, regulatory, and customer service teams.
- Functional knowledge of information systems, particularly SAP and reporting tools (Power BI, advanced Excel).
- Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on meeting performance goals (SLAs, KPIs).
- Adaptability to dynamic environments with regulatory complexity.
- Experience in managing BPO activities or teams is a plus.
