Junior Accounting Specialist
The General Accounting area of EDP GBS is seeking to recruit a professional to support the General Accounting process, specifically related to the accounting for solar renewable generation companies in Germany. The position is based in Lisbon, Portugal, with reporting to a manager in Spain and close collaboration with teams in Germany and Portugal.

What you will do:
- Keeping accounting records in the SAP system (invoices/purchases, fixed assets, sales, accruals and deferrals);
- Accounts reconciliation;
- Monthly analysis of trial balances;
- Accounting, monitoring and control of financial investments;
- Provision of accounting information to support tax assessments;
- Preparation and analysis of the annual accounts/financial statements of companies;
- Control of the balances and transactions between the Group's companies;
- Preparation of information for internal control and audits;
- Participate in projects and collaborate with the various areas of the organization as needed;
- Provide solution to standardize, automate, improve and simply processes/procedures.

What are we looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, Finance or similar;
- Between 3 and 5 years' professional experience in accounting;
- Highly valued knowledge of IFRS Standards;
- Mastery of Office tools;
- Fluent in English; Knowledge of German is highly valued;
- Highly valued practical knowledge of the SAP system (FI, AA, MM, SD modules)
- Knowledge of Power Query, Python or other automation tools is also valued;
- Availability for occasional travel;
- Innovative, self-motivated and detailed-oriented;
- Sound organizational skills and process driven mentally;
- Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects and multiple countries.
