We are looking for a Distribution Network Programming Engineer to join our Operations Programming department and contribute to the planning, coordination and monitoring of interventions across the electricity distribution network, ensuring the quality and continuity of the electricity supply.

 

This role provides the opportunity to work across High Voltage, Medium Voltage and Low Voltage interventions, coordinate different stakeholders involved in grid assets, and support the safe and efficient execution of network interventions.

 

What you will do:

  • Ensure the coordination of HV, MV and LV intervention programming, guaranteeing the quality and continuity of the electricity supply.
  • Guarantee the viability and execution of grid asset interventions, as well as the validation of unavailability requests for grid assets.
  • Ensure the optimisation and coordination of the different stakeholders involved in grid assets.
  • Evaluate safety procedures and processes associated with work planning.
  • Apply analysis techniques for outage requests, isolation procedures and live-line work authorisations.
  • Coordinate information uploads concerning grid status, incidents and the handling of grid anomalies.
  • Monitor MV and LV grid operation in real time, ensuring the quality and continuity of the electricity supply.
  • Ensure the coordination of grid manoeuvres for grid asset interventions.
  • Interact with stakeholders, including External Service Providers, other grid operators and other company areas.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or, preferably, Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, ideally with a specialisation in the Energy field.
  • Up to 3 years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of electrical network analysis.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, including large volumes of data such as SCADA alarms, OMS events, energy metering and power flows.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and autonomy.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
