SU ELETRICIDADE is the energy supplier in the regulated market and has more than 970,000 customers and around €506 million in revenues in 2022. Additionally, it ensures the purchase of the electricity produced and places the respective energy on the market, in accordance with the legally defined conditions, contributing to strengthening the sustainability of the National Electricity System. The sale of energy acquired to Special Regime Producers was €2.5 thousand million and the purchase was €1.7 thousand million.
The Regulation, Planning and Management Control Department aims to direct the company's management planning and control and economic and financial regulation, in order to support top management's decision-making and the preparation of the report and statutory and regulated accounts, as well as the preparation of financial projections with a view to the preparation of regulated tariffs, providing information to official entities, the analysis of regulatory impact, balance sheet and energy studies, which allow forecasting and measuring the performance of the business, in line with the Company's strategy and the regulations of supervisory entities the external ones.
This area is currently recruiting for a Controller position, for the Management Control Unit.
What you will do:
Support top management decision-making, analysis of business indicators, analytical accounting, operational and financial control, and reporting, as well as participating in the preparation and analysis of information to be provided to the regulatory authority (ERSE).
- Participate in the preparation and validation of management information relating to the company and its availability to internal and external recipients;
- Participate in the preparation and proposal of the company's business plan and budget;
- Create and develop digital tools that allow you to:
- Periodic monitoring of indicators and dissemination of reports,
- Preparation and quarterly presentation of the company's results;
- Monitoring budget execution;
- Prepare analyzes of commercial operations, including those within the regulatory scope;
- Identify and analyze management information and operational reporting needs, and define requirements and solutions;
- Preparation and reporting KPI;
- The preparation and reporting of regulated accounts and financial projections for ERSE.
- Produce and make management and operational information available in the form of indicators, reports, scorecards, and dashboards for your area.
- Participate in the delivery of all requested information, as well as the definition of economic-financial analysis indicators.

What are we looking for:
- Bachelor’s in business management, Economics, or similar areas.
- Up to 2 years' professional experience in a similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of PowerBI.
- Financial and Management knowledge (to be valued);
- Good knowledge of excel, sharepoint and other microsoft office tools.
- Portuguese and english (mandatory).
- Good communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and adaptability to multidisciplinary teams.
- Analytical capacity, synthesis and focus on detail.
- Orientation towards objectives and results; Problem solving; Proactivity.
- Initiative for the development of improvement activities and implementation of new solutions.
