Business Development & Client Operations Specialist

We are looking for a Business Development & Client Operations Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of EDP's public charging network.
This role is ideal for early-career professionals who want to gain real exposure to business development, working on concrete growth opportunities for the public charging network and learning in an environment where financial analysis, data analysis, negotiation and contracting, partner relationships, customer management and field operations intersect. What you will do:
- Identify and qualify new opportunities for the development of the public charging network, including locations with private partners, public entities, retail, real estate, concessions, hospitality and other relevant segments.
- Support the analysis and prioritization of opportunities, assessing demand potential, location quality, competitive context, technical requirements, required investment and expected profitability.
- Prepare business cases, economic and financial models, and decision-making recommendations for new locations, power upgrades, renegotiation or expansion of existing partnerships.
- Support the preparation of commercial proposals, presentations for partners and documentation to support internal decision-making.
- Support relationships with customers, partners and commercial channels, ensuring regular follow-up, identification of needs, preparation of commercial information and internal coordination to ensure an effective response.
- Manage the portfolio of public charging customers and partners, ensuring information is kept up to date, documentation is organized, contracts are followed up, requests are handled and supporting data is prepared for commercial activities, as well as identifying follow-up needs, improvement opportunities or topics to be escalated internally.
- Participate in responses to public and private tenders, collecting information, coordinating internal contributions and ensuring the quality and consistency of proposals.
- Monitor the opportunity pipeline from identification through contracting and installation, ensuring information is updated, visibility over blockers and coordination with Engineering and Project, Construction Management, Operations and Asset Management, and Legal teams.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development, pipeline management, investment analysis and reporting processes.

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Management, Economics, Finance or similar fields.
- 0–3 years of professional experience, preferably in business development, consulting, energy, infrastructure, electric mobility or analytical fields.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with structured thinking and the ability to turn data into practical recommendations.
- Ease of use of digital tools for analysis, productivity and preparation of executive materials; knowledge of artificial intelligence applied to information analysis, task automation and improving work efficiency is valued.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize topics, prepare presentations and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, organization and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proactivity, autonomy, curiosity and willingness to learn in a rapidly growing and transforming sector.
- Results-oriented mindset, problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Fluent Portuguese and English; Spanish is valued.
- Genuine interest in electric mobility, energy, energy transition and sustainability.
- Hands-on profile, with the ability to perform analyses, prepare materials and follow projects from start to finish.
- Ability to combine commercial vision with financial discipline and operational awareness.
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments, with multiple stakeholders and several topics in parallel.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking and willingness to improve processes, information and decision quality.
