Solar Project PMO (Project Management Officer) is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of solar energy projects from inception to completion. This role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. The PMO works closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management

•   Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, resource allocation, and risk management.
•   Lead project permitting process with support from different teams •   Experience in EPC contractor selection, familiar with RfP process.
•   Experience in EPC contract / Engineering contract / Consulting contract negotiation

2. Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure clear communication of project goals.
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to update them on project status, address concerns, and manage expectations.

• Ensure stakeholder satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.

3. Resource Management

•   Coordinate with resource managers to allocate personnel, equipment, and materials effectively.
•   Manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and other specialists.
•   Monitor team performance and provide support and guidance to ensure successful project execution.

4. Budget and Cost Control

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Track project expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible. • Prepare financial reports and forecasts to keep senior management informed of project financial status.

5. Risk Management

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. • Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen issues and minimize project disruptions.

6. Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all project activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications. • Implement corrective actions to resolve any issues impacting project quality.

7. Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders. • Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in renewable energy projects, preferably solar.

• Experience in Project Construction Management
• Qualification in Electric Engineer, Civil Engineer is preferred

Skills:

•   Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •   Solid understanding of solar energy systems, technologies, and industry standards.
•   Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Role Overview:

The Market Operations Sr Associate will support EDPR’s asset backed and prop trading activities in North America environmental commodities markets. You will support all activities related to the company’s portfolio of environmental commodities, including business development, analysis, reporting, the negotiation of contracts, creation of hedge positions, and delivery of products to customers. The work will directly aid executives by providing long-term revenue visibility and will focus on consistent execution of commitments to counterparties as well as on the creation of value-adding strategies for the company’s portfolio of environmental commodities. You will also analyze market and regulatory trends to aid decision-makers in identifying the most value-adding revenue strategy for the company’s REC portfolio. In addition, you will support the deployment and implementation of internal and external technology solutions for position management (inventory, obligations, exposure). As a secondary focus, this role will also assist with Energy Management deal structuring and short-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) negotiations for existing assets.

Main responsibilities:

Originate, negotiate and close futures contracts for REC positions consistent with EDPR RECs sales/trading strategy.
Manage inventory and fulfillment of REC delivery obligations to compliance and voluntary customers
Create reports to communicate position metrics to EDPR executive management and Global Energy Management (GEM) recurrent committees.
Gather market intelligence and analyze how changes in US regulatory environment or the electricity market may positively and/or negatively impact EDPR’s portfolio
Develop appropriate data, market intelligence, and analysis to advise GEM team on long-term REC pricing trends.
Support the deployment and implementation of technology solutions for efficient management of the company’s RECs position.
Support the definition and execution of trading strategies for RECs and/or power, for GEM proprietary book.
Work closely with risk and compliance teams to ensure proper monitoring of exposure, compliance with internal risk policies, and adherence to regulatory and legal requirements in the environmental commodities markets.
Support the structuring and contracting of for short-term power purchase (PPAs)

What you will do

Role Overview:

Exciting entry-level position, the Wind Technician I is an essential member of the Wind Farm that is responsible for the on-site operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of equipment at one of EDPR NA’s wind-energy generation sites. Tasks include but are not limited to completing Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), Tail Board, and documentation that is necessary to support wind turbine maintenance safely.  This team member will also conduct inspections of equipment, tools, and facilities for compliance with EDPR policies, governmental safety guidelines, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate is seeking an opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills in a dynamic team setting with a passion for renewable energy as EDPR is changing tomorrow now!

Main responsibilities:

Ensure proper operation and maintenance of wind turbines and associated wind plant equipment including substation and tower switchgear

What are we looking for

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education preferred
The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical background, specifically gearing-related.
1 – 2 years relevant experience in wind energy or a related industry (preferred)
Understanding of Microsoft products and complementing products
Experience with power plant operations and maintenance, wind plant operations and turbines (including turbine power converters specifically), high voltage switching, and post-operational repair and maintenance of turbines (preferred)
Familiarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment (e.g., voltage testers, amp clamps, hydraulic torque equipment, alignment tools, various hand, and power tools) and with heavy equipment required for facility maintenance including working knowledge of crane and rigging requirements (preferred)
Proficient knowledge of SQL Server software, facility management, reporting systems, and computerized diagnostic and troubleshooting tools (preferred)

O que vai fazer:

Assegurar a colaboração no apoio e na implementação de trabalhos de construção nas redes de Média Tensão (MT) e Baixa Tensão (BT);
Assegurar a conceção e a orçamentação de novos trabalhos de construção nas redes de MT e BT, utilizando os softwares da empresa;
Supervisionar o progresso dos trabalhos de campo e gerir a disponibilidade e a capacidade dos Prestadores de Serviços Externos;
Identificar e propor novos desenvolvimentos e investimentos na rede de MT, BT e Iluminação Pública;
Acompanhar a identificação, o planeamento e a execução de todas as atividades de construção da rede;
Apoiar o Gestor Operacional na gestão das questões do dia a dia;
Assegurar que os procedimentos de segurança são cumpridos de forma consistente, tanto pela equipa interna como pelos parceiros;

O que procuramos:

TAX MANAGER (Munich, Germany)

What you will do:

EDP's European tax team is looking for a skilled new team member to play a critical role in ensuring the tax compliance, controlling, transaction structuring and optimization and strategic tax planning for EDP Group, focused on Germany. Operating across multiple jurisdictions, this department ensures proper tax compliance, manages tax risks, supports global business operations and transversal projects and drives digitalization and process optimization.

Tax compliance, reporting and accounting
• supervise and ultimately secure the tax compliance of the German entities, including calculation, preparation and submission of all direct and indirect taxes (CIT, VAT, WHT, property taxes, local taxes, etc.).• coordinate the work of the internal tax teams (e.g., shared service centre) and external service providers on tax matters.
• actively participate in monthly, quarterly and year-end closing of the German companies according to German GAAP and IFRS.

Tax audits and risk management

What are we looking for:

SOLAR TECH II (Winchester, IN, US)

What you will do

Role Overview:

Responsible for the on-site operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of solar field equipment at EDPR NA’s operating solar-energy generation site. To include but not limited to completing Lock out Tag out (LOTO), Tail Board meetings, and job-specific documentation that is required to conduct solar turbine maintenance in the safest manner possible. Perform inspections of equipment, tools, and facility for compliance with EDPR policy and Governmental Safety and Environmental regulations. This person must be a self-motivated, self-starter that has the ability to work alone safely. Will require travel from the Mojave area to the Lucerne valley regularly.

Main responsibilities:

-Ensure proper operation and maintenance of solar field equipment and associated solar plant components, including inverters, tracker systems, transformers, substations, and switchgear
-Proactively look for improvement opportunities to job-appropriate processes and procedures and communicate through appropriate channels or implement improvements using the appropriate control management protocol
-Read schematics in order to troubleshoot complicated mechanical, and electrical, problems with investors, tracker control systems, PV panels, and components
-Perform mechanical and electrical component repair and replacement of parts to correct malfunctions in accordance with all pertinent manufacturers' requirements
-Effectively gather information regarding solar performance/issues
-Diagnose, recommend, and implement solutions up to intermediate routine issues
-Seek assistance when encountering? issues outside the trained skill level to ensure success in the resolution
-Comply with all pertinent environmental health and safety programs
-Act as a safety role model; encourage and recognize others completing safe acts and intervene when unsafe acts are being practiced
-Identify gaps in safety standards as well as safety risks in the environment
-Implement effective risk mitigation and provide recommendations to higher-level technical staff and management

Quality and Delivery Lead Expert (Houston, TX, US)

What you will do

Role Overview:

The Quality and Delivery Lead Expert is responsible for driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization. This key position will be responsible for developing and maintaining programs, processes, and metrics that support the organization’s quality approach to support utility-scale and wind and PV plants. This includes leading the quality and cross-functional teams to support the achievement of quality goals and business continuity metrics.

Main responsibilities:

Be the Quality leader for the company by driving and developing a strong and committed Quality culture throughout the organization
Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Integrity Management System, including coordination with all departments to develop and enforce quality policies, procedures, processes, programs, and practices. Create new quality standards and systems to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Manage the Construction Quality program ensuring the improvement of efficiency, reliability, and availability of EDPR’s PV and Wind plants
Build relationships with major EPC partners to ensure quality and continuous improvement of third-party services at operating sites
Promote usage of the Quality Incident Management System throughout the organization. Utilize organizational and critical thinking skills to facilitate and guide cross-functional teams though all stages of the quality case process including the RCA, CA, and EA steps
Develop and present weekly quality presentations to leadership showing progress on KPIs and quality initiatives
Perform data analysis and data trending to define and develop quality status indicators and new performance measurements to validate continuous improvement efforts
Ensure all projects follow the program framework and monitor progress through handover.
Proactively communicate status and progress through weekly communications and monthly meetings to leadership
Ensure that all Quality-related databases and software applications are maintained and updated ensuring data is available to all parities
Indirectly supervise the quality team members
Provide consulting to the construction team teams on quality systems, policies, procedures, and core processes

What are we looking for

Minimum Requirements:

5+ years of relevant experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance group with an emphasis on managing teams and Quality programs
Familiarity with lean tools and concepts including RCA, PDCA, value stream mapping, and quality incident management
Familiarity with project start-up, testing, commissioning, and project handover. Renewable Experience is preferred
Possess a degree in Engineering or a related discipline. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Role Overview:

The HV Technician II will provide electrical, high-voltage (HV), and substation emergency response to operating wind farms across the Company with a primary focus in an assigned zone. You will lead maintenance, service, and repair of HV assets in conjunction with other members of the HV Team. You will also work independently under the general direction of the HV Operations Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

Monitor and provide electrical, high-voltage, and substation support to operating wind farms in an assigned region

Provide 24/7 on-call support

Provide support for electrical design, engineering, testing, and construction as requested

Perform tests and repairs for switching and construction activities as requested

Support and coordinate commissioning, start-up, and initial operating activities

Oversee the HV spare parts inventory and warehouse

Perform safely switching and grounding of step-up transformers, feeder breakers, gang-operated switches, and other related components

Operate equipment such as bucket/line trucks, forklifts, and aerial lifts

Perform, analyze, and create reports on infrared inspections, battery maintenance, dielectric oil, and SF6 sampling

Lead substation maintenance via Orders To Operate (OTOs), SAP work orders, outage planning, and other related activities

Perform substation and transmission maintenance in accordance with NERC compliance requirements

Work closely with plant Operations Managers of the assigned region to ensure day-to-day reliability and high Technical Energy Availability based on plants’ economics

Serve as the first responder for emergency and routine repairs on HV equipment including transmission lines, HV cable terminations, and splices

Provide remote HV support to the HV Operations Manager for complex troubleshooting, component testing, and proof checking

Ensures adherence to all pertinent OSHA safety requirements and established company policies and procedures

Provide detailed written reports including root cause analyses to Operations and HV Management

Operate company vehicles and maintain it in ready-to-respond condition

Electrical Engineering Lead (Houston, TX, US)

What you will do

The Electrical Engineering Project Manager Project Manager – Data Centre Infrastructure, within the North America Engineering team, supports the planning, early-stage design coordination, and delivery readiness of mission-critical data centre infrastructure projects. The role spans MEP and civil infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on low- and medium-voltage electrical systems and their integration with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and site/civil works to meet data centre requirements for reliability, availability, scalability, and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview:

Main responsibilities:

Drive early-stage power capacity assessments and studies, as well as civil land assessments, delivering preliminary layouts and concept design packages through a combination of internal teams and external service providers.
Develop and coordinate electrical power infrastructure solutions, including utility interconnections, substations, MV/LV designs, emergency power systems, and grounding strategies to meet data centre reliability and availability requirements.
Lead the integration of electrical systems with cooling, life safety, and civil infrastructure, ensuring full compliance with regulatory, safety, and data centre performance standards.
Act as the primary technical interface between internal development teams, Engineers of Record (EORs), EPC contractors, utilities, retail service providers, and operations stakeholders.
Lead, coordinate, and review engineering deliverables from third-party consultants in a timely manner, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with EDPR specifications and all applicable codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NESC, ANSI), and strict adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Perform, review, and approve electrical discipline calculations, such as load flow, short circuit, arc flash, conductor sizing, reactive power, grounding grid, to verify system integrity and operational performance.
Coordinate closely with electric utilities and retail service providers, supporting capacity assessments, interconnection strategies, service agreements, and alignment of technical requirements with project schedules.
Support pre-FID and investment decision phases, contributing to value engineering, CAPEX optimization, technical feasibility assessments, and overall project viability.
Support project execution through operational handover, ensuring design intent, reliability standards, and operational requirements are met through construction completion and turnover.

What are we looking for

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred). Professional Engineer (PE) licensed, with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in electrical engineering for mission-critical data center facilities or related field.
Experience in developing early-stage design, Basis of Design, and concept design packages for data centre projects, including support through detailed design, construction and client turnover.
Working knowledge of data center reliability standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ASHRAE) and applicable electrical and construction safety codes, including NEC, NFPA, and OSHA.
Knowledge of medium voltage collection system, high-voltage substation equipment, underground distribution, power system dynamics, Interconnection Requests, grid integration, P&C, grounding grids, and relevant codes.
Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and other disciplines-relevant software

The Renewables Generation Assets Platform (RGA) Leadership & Strategy function intends to recruit a Process Design & Improvement Specialist for its Business Process Excellence area.

What you will do:

Act as a transformation engine for cross-functional, high-impact initiatives, including process and operating model revisions/optimizations and large-scale implementations;

Understand current processes and operating models, challenge status quo, benchmark against best practices, identify areas for improvement that maximize value creation;

Desing and deploy future solutions;

What are we looking for:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field;

Performance Analysis Specialist (Houston, TX, US)

What you will do:

The Performance Analysis Specialist develops and monitors performance indicators to detect and resolve long term issues related to the operation of wind, solar and storage assets. Performs the diagnosis of the detections and proposes solutions in coordination with engineering teams. Manages the resolution of detected issues and communicates statuses with Asset Operations and Performance Management departments. Coordinates with global team members in North America and Europe.Represent Operations in a multi-departmental team that develops the supply chain strategy for EDPR NA’s assets.

Identify the main drivers contributing to underperformance in EDPR assets
Develop new indicators and methods for long term issues detection, implement processes to improve accuracy of detections.
Create interactive business intelligence (BI) reports to support monitoring efforts.
Manage detected issues to track resolution and added value.
Ensure quality control of performance datasets by confirming accuracy against original sources, checking for errors manually and automatically, and updating datasets regularly.
Maintain relationship with Asset Managers and managers of operating sites, enabling successful plant operations by providing timely detections and escalating issues and opportunities identified.
Conduct performance meetings with Filed Operations.
Work as part of a global team, supporting and leading initiatives that enhance the group’s capabilities and performance.

What you will do

Role Overview:

The Solar FST I will be responsible for the on-site operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of equipment at one of EDPR NA’s operating solar generation sites. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to completing Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), Tail Board, and job specific documentation that is required to conduct PV solar system maintenance in the safest manner possible. You will also perform inspections of equipment, tools, and facilities for compliance with EDPR policies, governmental safety guidelines, and environmental regulations.

Main responsibilities:

Proactively look for improvement opportunities to job appropriate processes and procedures and communicate through appropriate channels or implement improvements using the appropriate control management protocol
Perform mechanical and electrical component repair and replacement of parts to correct malfunctions in accordance with all pertinent manufacturers' requirements
Seek assistance when encountering  issues outside trained skill level to ensure success in resolution
Comply with all pertinent environmental health and safety programs
Act as a safety role model; encourage and recognize others completing safe acts and intervene when unsafe acts are being practiced
Identify gaps in safety standards as well as safety risks in the environment
Promote integrity, strong initiative, and a no-compromise focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basis
Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with OEM maintenance manuals
Work with and respond to EDPRs Remote Operations Control Center when necessary

 1 – 2 years relevant experience in PV Solar or a related industry
Familiarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment (e.g., voltage testers, amp clamps)
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to operate a motor vehicle

Role Summary:

Coordinate interaction with internal global technical teams;
Oversee the development of engineering designs at various stages, ensuring compliance with local regulation and market practice;
Manage interconnection application process with the TSO;
Support country teams (PMO) during business development opportunities, from a technical perspective;
Create project schedules for RFP tenders and project development, ensuring timely and budgeted completion;
Provide specialized technical support during tender processes (RFPs), including the revision of HVI supporting documents and single line diagrams;
Ensure Capex optimization throughout project development, ensuring maximum project profitability;
Coordinate key studies for integration in engineering projects;
Establish relationships with suppliers and support APAC procurement team in bid/award processes for services;
Ensure lessons learned from construction are applied to the requirements of projects under development;

Requirements:

Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 5 years in design projects focused in PV Plants, substations, and high voltage lines
Experience in interconnection application process with TSO in Japan
Experience in managing engineering projects, including management of external contractors
Renewable energy or Power utility experience preferred
Applicable practices and regulations
Substation Commissioning and tests
Knowledge of photovoltaic system design and its various components
Detailed understanding of HVI components and SLDs
Strong communication, project management, problem-solving and teamwork skills
Language: Proficient in English and Japanese

Role Summary:

E&C is a decentralized team leading engineering development and delivery of Energy Renewables Utility Scale Projects (Solar PV, BESS and Onshore Wind Farms (and associated infrastructures) on behalf of EDPR.
This role will be responsible for the supervision of the project on-site from early works, pre-construction, construction and delivery to Assets Operations.
To ensure compliance of project execution targets in terms of Company’s HSE, Schedule, quality, environmental and costs. Coordinating & supervising activites on-site: main contractors, owner’s engineering, and suppliers
This role is on-site based, collaborating with contractors and Owner’s engineers in the works, supervising on-site works and attending quality inspections or raising non-conformities.
This role will also be a key player in improving the Construction Team, supporting platform initiatives which have a real impact in Projects.

Responsibilities:

Review on detailed Project Documentation, Construction Plan, Quality Assurance Plan, Quantitative Control Plan.
Oversee construction works and principal contractor to ensure work is completed according to approved engineered designs, the customer’s requirements and industry specifications.
Obtain or generate signoff at each stage of the works/hold points.
Review and report on all construction documentation from the Construction Contractor for approval or rejection by the Owner’s Construction Manager.
Review and oversee principle contractor’s construction schedule and activities in accordance with project plan and foresee potential incidents resulting from plan changes.
Oversee and review the principal contractor’s site access processes for all workers, ensuring suitable records are kept, and progress of work claims are reviewed in accordance with construction activities.
Review and oversee principal contractor’s on-site Health and Safety practices, including Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Job Safety Environmental Analysis (JSEA), tool box talks, Methods of Procedures (MOP), Safety Observations, Audits/Inspections and any Safe Work Instructions (SWI), ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
Review and oversee any required Work Permits for the Project, inclusive of Working at Heights, Hot Works, Journey/Travel Logs, Confined Spaces, Energisation, stakeholder engagement etc.
Report progress of the works by keeping activities updates based on supervisions, inspections and discussions with Contractors and Subcontractors.
Manage the principle contractor to report health and safety status to the EDP and company HSEQ Manager, including principal contractor’s risk assessments completed and any hazards, incidents, or near misses and on site.
Technical Assistance Quality Assurance Supervision Plan (QASP) and Quantitative Control implementation.
Monitor the Construction Contractor Inspection Points Programme (IPP).
Assist in coordinating developer/owner deliveries and oversee supplier manufacturing and delivery activities, ensuring alignment with the project plan.
Conduct inspections of material arrival and construction activities.
Follow-up of Non-Conformities, Corrective and Preventive actions.
Assistance in monitoring environmental, archeological artifacts and H&S Issues on site.
Monitor the construction law process fulfilment according to local legislation requirements.
Assist when required to complete the FAT, Pre-SAT, and SAT commissioning as requested by the Construction Manager and Project Manager.
Review and oversee mobilisation and demobilisation activities on the construction related components of the project inclusive of all site establishment requirements.
Warranty, operations and maintenance support.
Ensure quality of work is maintained.
Attend regular follow-up meetings.
Work instruction analysis.
Final inspection of the work.
Maintain relationship with stakeholders.
Project closure.

Requirements:

Site Supervisor/Site Manager with >3 years experience on-site (experience in PV/solar ground mounted and Substations – Electrical Infrastructure- highly valued).
Ability to speak English (highly valued) and local language (Japanese).
Management and reporting in a decentralized team
Experience in supervision & quality inspection
Proficient in documentation management and progress report
Proactive Problem Solving skills, team player, well organized and able to deal with pressure under tight deadlines with ability to make quick and sound decisions.

Transaction Tax Senior Manager (Houston, TX, US)

What will you do

Ensure required Sales & Use, GST and VAT tax returns and payments are timely and accurately filed.
Review transaction tax provisions in contracts with suppliers and service providers for appropriate terms.
Obtain and Issue Tax Exemption Certificates
Manage transaction tax audits with governmental agencies.
Work closely with the applicable business groups to provide transaction tax consequences on proposed deals and information for related financial models.
Ensure transaction tax general ledger accounts are accurate and timely reconciled.
Research applicable laws and produce tax technical memos as needed.
Ensure the Vertex Sales & Use Tax System is functioning appropriately.
Mentor and supervise direct reports.
Stay current on US and Canadian transaction tax law changes
Additional duties as required.

What are we looking for

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting Preferred
8 plus years of experience in the state and local sales and use tax field
CPA preferred
Strong technical knowledge of Transaction Tax Laws
Experience with Transaction Tax Accrual Software such as Vertex
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (knowledge of complex functions and formulas)
