What you will do:

Provide central construction support to renewable energy projects (PV, Wind, BESS and HV Substations) during the construction phase across Europe and Iberia, supporting Construction Managers (CMs) and contributing to standardization, problem solving and continuous improvement of construction processes.

General responsibilities:

Support Construction Central activities during the construction and commissioning phases of PV, Wind and BESS projects.
Assist CMs in engineering, construction coordination, commissioning readiness and project management tasks.
Support technical troubleshooting and follow-up of construction issues across projects.
Assist in the coordination with internal departments (Engineering, H&S, Quality, IT/OT, etc.).
Contribute to the development and improvement of procedures, standards and protocols.
Support documentation management and lesson learned implementation.
Collaboration in the digital and evolutionary implantation of the company.

El departamento de Centros de Control busca un Técnico/a de Apoyo de Operación del centro de control.

Gestión y supervisión de la red de EDP Networks Spain con las herramientas que proporciona el sistema SCADA y ADMS, bajo la supervisión del Jefe de Servicio en su turno; interlocución con el CC de REE y con los de otras empresas distribuidoras o clientes; realización de solicitudes de intervención en la red según lo establecido en las normas y procedimientos de empresa; gestión de las incidencias en la Red de Distribución y coordinación con Operación en el aislamiento de la zona afectada y la resolución de las mismas si fuera necesario; así como gestión de incidencias para dar soporte a Calidad.

Lo que harás:

Controla el estado de la red, visualizándola en el sistema y detectando incidencias y alarmas, operando la red en remoto, comunicándose con operarios de campo y avisando de averías a retenes.

Realización de las solicitudes de intervención en la Red de acuerdo con procedimientos, formatos, normas y documentos establecidos.

Coordinación sobre valoraciones en la tramitación y/o ejecución de las intervenciones programadas en la red.

Gestión de las incidencias en la Red de EDP Networks Spain y coordinación con Operación en el aislamiento de la zona afectada y su resolución si fuera necesario. Gestión de incidencias para dar soporte a Calidad.

Coordinación con el Centro atención Telefónico de averías en los avisos que fueran relevantes para la operación
Coordinación y soporte en la resolución de incidencias en la red de distribución para la mejora de la transmisión de información de la misma y la coordinación con OMC.

Colaboración con otras áreas de la empresa (Planificación, Mantenimiento, Operación, Telecontrol, etc.) en estudios, desarrollos, pruebas, etc para lograr objetivos de mejora e innovación.

WIND TECHNICIAN II (Chalmers, IN, US)

What you will do

Role Overview:

Intermediate level position, the Wind Technician II is an integral member of the Wind farm with the responsibility of on-site operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of equipment at one of EDPR NA’s operating wind energy generation sites. Tasks include but are not limited to completing Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), Tail Board, and documentation that is necessary to support wind turbine maintenance safely. This team member will also conduct inspections of equipment, tools, and facilities for compliance with EDPR policies, governmental safety guidelines, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate is experienced in renewable energy or related industry and is prepared to further their career as part of a global leader in the renewable energy sector.

Main responsibilities:

Ensure proper operation and maintenance of wind turbines and associated wind plant equipment, including substation and tower switchgear
Proactively look for improvement opportunities to job appropriate processes and procedures
Communicate through appropriate channels or implement improvements using the appropriate control management protocol
Seek assistance when encountering turbine issues outside the trained skill level to ensure success in resolution
Comply with all pertinent environmental health and safety programs and act as a safety role model

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
1+ years of college or technical school education, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Interconnection Analyst (Houston, TX, US)

Role Overview

The Interconnection Analyst will support the company’s renewable energy projects by helping manage the generator interconnection process. This role will focus on preparing and submitting interconnection applications, tracking and organizing study results, and ensuring project teams have the information they need to make decisions. The analyst will assist with reviewing utility and ISO/RTO study reports, support compliance with interconnection requirements, and provide clear updates to the development team.

This position will also help the development and origination teams by researching transmission and interconnection opportunities, identifying potential project risks, and supporting early-stage project siting. The analyst will gain exposure to ISO/RTO transmission planning activities while contributing to the growth of the company’s renewable generation portfolio.

Manage project positions in interconnection queues across multiple ISO/RTO markets.
Monitor and ensure compliance with interconnection requirements and deadlines.
Prepare and submit interconnection deliverables, including applications and study materials.
Track, review, and summarize ISO/RTO and utility study results.
Provide regular updates on interconnection status, risks, and milestones to internal teams.
Support Development and Origination by analyzing interconnection opportunities and constraints.

Global Energy Management Lead - ERCOT and SPP (Houston, TX, US)

Role Overview:

The Global Energy Management team at EDP Renewables North America is seeking a highly motivated professional to lead short- and medium-term asset optimization for its ERCOT and SPP growing portfolio of renewable assets. You will develop and implement power scheduling and hedging strategies to maximize the value of EDPR NA merchant position in the wholesale electricity markets while adhering to risk policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include day-ahead scheduling, executing power hedges, and procuring basis hedges. The role requires advanced hands-on experience in ERCOT and SPP power market dynamics, hedging and trading strategies, alongside the demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics to enhance performance and deliver profitable results, when compared to passive scheduling and hedging strategies.

Main Accountabilities:

Develop and implement robust power scheduling and trading strategies aimed at optimizing EDP portfolio of renewable assets within NA wholesale power markets, specifically in ERCOT and SPP.
Develop and manage hedging strategies for wholesale electricity prices and locational basis, ensuring effective management of EDP risks and positions within the power markets.
Responsible for day-ahead scheduling activities, power hedges execution, and basis hedges procurement (CRRs/TCRs).
Optimize EDP’s merchant portfolio, ensuring alignment with company’s Energy Management goals.
Develop and implement prop trading strategies including virtuals, power futures, and FTRs.
Monitor and analyze power market trends, regulatory changes, and other factors affecting prices and risk, recommending strategies to maximize the portfolio value.
Work closely with risk and compliance teams to ensure proper monitoring of exposure, compliance with internal risk policies, and adherence to regulatory and legal requirements in the power markets.
Monitor and report on the performance of the company’s portfolio and related books, including prop trading.

Executar serviços de manutenção preditiva, preventiva, corretiva e emergencial, bem como atividades técnico-comerciais, de medição, combate a perdas, inspeções e construção em redes de distribuição de energia elétrica, energizadas e desenergizadas, nas classes de tensão de 15 a 34,5 kV.

Atuar conforme o Plano Anual de Manutenção, Ordens de Serviço do CSD e demandas do COI, garantindo a continuidade e a qualidade do fornecimento de energia elétrica, em conformidade com os padrões técnicos, normas de segurança, requisitos legais, políticas de sustentabilidade e procedimentos do Sistema de Gestão Integrado (SGIS).

No nível Júnior, o profissional atua sob orientação e supervisão de eletricistas mais experientes, participando de todas as atribuições da área.

PRINCIPAIS ATIVIDADES

Executar manutenções preventivas, preditivas, corretivas e emergenciais em redes de distribuição de média e baixa tensão (MT/BT), energizadas e desenergizadas, conforme ordens de serviço e programações definidas pelo Planejamento da Manutenção, CSD e COI.

Realizar serviços de restabelecimento de energia, inspeções ponto a ponto, atividades de combate a perdas, demandas técnico-comerciais e serviços em sistemas de medição.

Executar manobras programadas e emergenciais em equipamentos de distribuição, como religadores, reguladores, seccionalizadores, bancos de capacitores e disjuntores, em campo ou em ETDs, conforme treinamentos e liberações do COI.

Role Overview:

The HV Technician II will provide electrical, high-voltage (HV), and substation emergency response to operating wind farms across the Company with a primary focus in an assigned zone. You will lead maintenance, service, and repair of HV assets in conjunction with other members of the HV Team. You will also work independently under the general direction of the HV Operations Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

Monitor and provide electrical, high-voltage, and substation support to operating wind farms in an assigned region
Provide 24/7 on-call support
Provide support for electrical design, engineering, testing, and construction as requested
Perform tests and repairs for switching and construction activities as requested
Support and coordinate commissioning, start-up, and initial operating activities
Oversee the HV spare parts inventory and warehouse
Perform safely switching and grounding of step-up transformers, feeder breakers, gang-operated switches, and other related components
Operate equipment such as bucket/line trucks, forklifts, and aerial lifts
Perform, analyze, and create reports on infrared inspections, battery maintenance, dielectric oil, and SF6 sampling
Lead substation maintenance via Orders To Operate (OTOs), SAP work orders, outage planning, and other related activities
Perform substation and transmission maintenance in accordance with NERC compliance requirements
Work closely with plant Operations Managers of the assigned region to ensure day-to-day reliability and high Technical Energy Availability based on plants’ economics
Serve as the first responder for emergency and routine repairs on HV equipment including transmission lines, HV cable terminations, and splices
Provide remote HV support to the HV Operations Manager for complex troubleshooting, component testing, and proof checking

Environmental Compliance & Reporting Specialist (Lisbon, PT)

Our Safety, Security & Environment department intends to recruit an Environmental Compliance & Reporting Specialist.

What you will do:

Be responsible for the management, monitoring, and reporting of key environmental matters across facilities, ensuring legal compliance, data quality, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, in accordance with the following areas:

General

Ongoing monitoring of environmental legislation applicable to activities and facilities using the Wordlex platform.
Analysis and validation of environmental documentation related to construction works and other interventions, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to internal procedures.
Handling and follow-up of internally reported environmental incidents, including reporting to APA when applicable.
Monitoring findings from operational and management system audits, including tracking the closure of corrective actions.
Interaction with external service providers to obtain, clarify, and validate operational data.
Coordination with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment, deadline compliance, and support for decision-making.

Energy

Management and monitoring of facility energy consumption, ensuring data processing, validation, consolidation, and critical analysis, including identification of deviations and inconsistencies.
Mandatory registration and reporting of energy consumption on the DGEG portal, including invoice collection, data consolidation, and submission per facility.
Internal and corporate reporting of energy consumption (electricity and gas), ensuring data quality, consistency, traceability, and audit support.
Contribution of data at corporate level for sustainability reporting and indices, namely ESG reporting.
Monitoring of energy efficiency topics, including energy certificates and audits, in coordination with internal teams.

Water Resources

Management and monitoring of water consumption across facilities, including analysis, validation, consolidation, and critical interpretation of data from PSE and internal systems.
Environmental licensing of water abstraction, discharge, and wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), including application, submission, follow-up, and control of the Single Environmental Title (TUA) via the SILiAmb (APA) portal.
Mandatory external reporting to APA, namely water abstraction consumption, ensuring traceability and evidence archiving.
Contribution of corporate-level data for sustainability reporting and indices, through analysis, consolidation, and submission of water consumption, supporting ESG reporting and external audits.

Waste

Management and monitoring of waste generation across facilities, including analysis of quantities produced, verification of EWC codes, and harmonization of data across companies and sites.
Validation and issuance of e-GARs, including control of Waste Management Operators (OGR) and their respective Single Environmental Titles (TUA).
Mandatory external reporting of waste generation through MIRR submission on the APA portal, ensuring legal compliance and evidence archiving.
Internal and corporate reporting of waste data, ensuring quality, consistency, traceability, and audit support.

Fluorinated Gases

Management and maintenance of the inventory of equipment containing fluorinated gases, including technical characterization and legal classification.
Control and monitoring of interventions carried out on equipment, including gas leakages, maintenance, and compliance with mandatory labeling requirements.
Compilation, processing, consolidation, and annual analysis of fluorinated gas data.
Mandatory external reporting to APA through submission of fluorinated gas forms on SILiAmb, ensuring traceability and evidence archiving.

The EMC MV/LV North of the E-Redes Networks Platform, whose mission is to guarantee service to MV, LV and IP network assets, managing resources and operational models to ensure the construction and maintenance of assets and compliance with approved plans and budgets, as well as providing operational support for the management of relations with municipalities under the functional coordination of local authority departments, is looking to strengthen its team in the Maintenance area - Tomar:

What you will do:

Support to the network and customers, in normal conditions and availability, ensuring compliance with the company's policies, criteria and specifications;
Participate in the fulfillment of maintenance plans for MV, LV and IP network assets and contribute to the preparation of the Investment Plan and Budget;
Preventive and systematic maintenance of risk and condition of MV, LV and IP distribution network assets, as well as transformation and remote control stations;
Planning and execution of scheduled interventions to correct and improve network assets;
Contribute to the development and innovation of systems and operating procedures for the sustained integration of new technologies into the network;
Support the detection of fraud and theft, ensuring the reporting of suspicious situations identified within the scope of the activity.

A Direção Centro de Produção Hídrica Tejo Mondego, da EDP Produção, que tem como missão Coordenar a operacionalidade de sistemas e equipamentos na sua área de especialidade, participar na definição de políticas de manutenção e assegurar a sua implementação através de planos e procedimentos de manutenção e de segurança, de base tecnológica especializada, potenciando o normal funcionamento das instalações e dos equipamentos, bem como a manutenção dos níveis de segurança e ambientais estabelecidos, pretende reforçar a sua equipa da área de Manutenção Elétrica - Central Hidroelétrica de Belver:

O que vai fazer:

Efetuar a manutenção de equipamentos elétricos, eletrónicos, instrumentação de processo e automação e/ou mecânicos em aproveitamentos hídricos: manutenção preventiva sistemática e corretiva - detetar, analisar, resolver avarias, executar trabalhos diversos;
Interpretar esquemas, desenhos e instruções técnicas;
Condução dos grupos de produção do aproveitamento hidroelétrico;
Intervir no processo de gestão de autorizações de trabalho, nomeadamente, consignações e desconsignações de equipamentos;
Efetuar manobras na rede elétrica, central, subestações, postos de seccionamento e de transformação;
Efetuar preparações de trabalhos e elaborar relatórios de intervenções;
Efetuar montagens, ajustes de precisão, controlo de automatismos;
Integrar a equipa de disponibilidade da Central.

What you will do:

Perform maintenance on electrical, electronic, process instrumentation, automation, and/or mechanical equipment in hydroelectric facilities: systematic preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance - detect, analyze, resolve breakdowns, execute various tasks;
Interpret schemes, drawings, and technical instructions;
Operate the hydroelectric production groups;
Intervene in the work authorization management process, including consigning and de-consigning equipment;
Perform maneuvers in the electrical network, central, substations, sectioning and transformation posts;
Prepare work preparations and elaborate intervention reports;
Perform assemblies, precision adjustments, control of automation systems;
Integrate the power plant's availability team.

Checks and registers the accounting documents

Wind Originator (Munich, Germany)

What you will do:

Main Accountabilities

Identify potential wind development sites and establish initial contact with landowners and local stakeholders – also with the help of the GIS Team
Negotiate and secure land agreements with landowners, with guidance and support from senior team members where required.
Build and maintain relationships with landowners and local stakeholders.
Support the screening and evaluation of potential project locations.

What you will do:

Lead and manage strategic commercial initiatives with multinational companies, expanding EDP’s global footprint by co-developing tailored renewable energy solutions that align with the Group’s strategic priorities and reinforce its position as a key partner in the global energy transition.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the identification, development and cultivation of strategic partnerships with german multinational companies, positioning EDP as a trusted long-term collaborator in their global energy transition journey, orchestrating the efforts of different EDP geographies to ensure cohesive, aligned and high impact engagement with each partner

• Create and deliver C- level compelling propositions as basis for strategic energy transition-oriented decisions.

• Support the development of segmentation proposals, targeting, and strategic positioning within the scope of EDP solutions in various countries, prioritizing initiatives based on pain points, value creation potential, and customers’ priorities

• Ensure Executional Excellence in Germany by bringing hands-on experience in delivering energy solutions (e.g. Solar PV, BESS, EV…) projects for C&I clients in Germany, understanding project lifecycle risks, and proactively addressing permitting, construction, interconnection, and delivery bottlenecks to accelerate COD timelines.

• Leverage subsidies & incentives by actively guiding the identification and application of German incentives that enhance project viability and financial outcomes

• Navigate Regulatory Frameworks by providing insights into local regulatory requirements and building effective relationships with relevant authorities and grid operators to streamline development and implementation efforts.

• Support EDP Client Solutions Management team on key decision-making exercises concerning business growth and profitability, from strategic challenging & design to implementation & execution on the key group priorities.

What we are looking for:

• Experience between 2 and 6 years in projects with high strategic relevance and complex c-level stakeholder management (Energy consulting, Energy procurement or corporate sustainability teams in large multinational companies or Strategy & Transformation teams).

• Demonstrated project delivery experience in energy solutions for Commercial & Industrial clients in Germany, including knowledge of typical execution challenges and mitigation strategies.

• Experience navigating the German regulatory landscape, including interactions with grid operators and permitting authorities, as well as applying for and securing public subsidies and incentives to enhance project viability will be considered a strong plus.

• Strong executive presence and presentation / facilitation skills, comfortable collaborating with and presenting to C-suite executives, including poised, confident objection handling abilities

• Curiosity, entrepreneurial self-starter with high level of self-initiative, and comfortable in working in dynamic, matrixed environments, coordinating across diverse geographies and internal teams.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-growing and demanding environment.

• Fluency in English and German. Fluency in an additional EDP language is highly preferred (French, Italian, Polish, Chinese, Portuguese or Spanish.)

SITE MANAGER (Munich, Germany)

What you will do:

Comprehensive management of plant operations and maintenance, coordinating both main and secondary service providers to ensure proper functioning, efficiency, and continuity of the facility.
Oversight and authorization of work, adaptation of contractual tasks to departmental needs, and coordination of all subcontractors and suppliers involved.
Execution of operational tasks in substations, and medium-voltage lines, and transformer, supporting local operations alongside the main contractor.
Organization and assignment of daily maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with procedures and work standards while maintaining optimal plant performance.
Continuous technical support to operators, personnel management (work schedules, holidays), and resource management (PPE, vehicles, minor payments).
Preparation of operation and maintenance reports through SCADA monitoring, technical analysis, and consolidation of data to support decision-making.
Regular communication with the remote office regarding plant availability, coordination of switching operations, outages, and adjustments of operational programs due to incidents or changing conditions.
Recording, coding, and analysis of relevant communications.
Incident management, including on-site diagnosis, identification and coordination of appropriate service providers, supervision of repair works on site, substations, lines, and transformer centers, and response to incidents both during and outside working hours, serving as the initial point of contact for owners.

O que vai fazer:

Solar Site Lead Tech (Jerseyville, IL, US)

What you will do

Role Overview:

The Solar Site Lead Technician will be responsible for the on-site operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of solar field equipment at EDPR NA’s operating solar-energy generation site. You will also perform Lock out Tag out (LOTO), Tail Board meetings, and job-specific documentation that is required to conduct solar maintenance in the safest manner possible. Additionally, you will perform inspections of equipment, tools, and facility for compliance with EDPR’s policy and Governmental Safety and Environmental regulations. It is necessary for this person to be a self-motivator who can lead a team to conduct small corrective repairs and execute EDPR’s solar maintenance strategy.

Main responsibilities:

-Ensure proper operation and maintenance of solar field equipment and associated solar plant components including inverters, tracker systems, transformers, PV panels, substations, switchgears, access roads, fences, and security systems
-Supervise a team of 1 to 4 technicians to execute preventative and corrective maintenance
-Proactively look for improvement opportunities to job-appropriate processes and procedures and communicate through appropriate channels to implement improvements using the Management of Change Protocols
-Read schematics in order to troubleshoot complicated mechanical and electrical, problems with inverters, tracker control systems, PV panels, and components
-Perform mechanical and electrical component repair and replacement of parts to correct malfunctions in accordance with all pertinent manufacturers' requirements
-Effectively gather information regarding solar performance/issues
-Diagnose, recommend, and implement solutions up to intermediate routine issues
-Seek assistance when encountering issues outside the trained skill level to ensure success in the resolution
-Comply with all pertinent environmental health and safety programs
-Act as a safety role model by encouraging and recognizing others completing safe acts and intervening when unsafe acts are being practiced
-Identify gaps in safety standards and safety risks in the environment
-Implement effective risk mitigation and provide recommendations to higher-level technical staff and management
-Promote integrity, strong initiative, and a no-compromise focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basis
-Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with OEM maintenance manuals
-Perform data collection and prepare reports in order to meet reporting requirements
-Work with and respond to EDPRs Remote Operations Control Center when necessary
-Perform QA/QC inspections in accordance with applicable SOP
-Ensure that reliable electronic communication is maintained between the solar field, substation, site office, and home office
-Facilitate periodic equipment inspections and reporting
-Document all work performed using computer-based service reporting procedures (SAP)
-Adhere to effective internal controls
-Supervise contractors onsite to ensure compliance with all EDPR’s policies and procedures
-Additional duties as required

What you will do

The Electrical Engineering Project Manager serves as the primary representative of the Engineering Department, responsible for ensuring the Electrical Engineering team delivers consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely solutions in support of wind, solar, and energy storage facility construction. Lead, coordinate, and review engineering deliverables from third-party consultants in a timely manner, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with EDPR specifications and all applicable codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NESC, ANSI), and strict adherence to project schedules and budgets..
Develop and manage comprehensive electrical engineering documentation, including scopes of work, budgets, specifications, schedules, technical exhibits, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Evaluate technical solutions from equipment manufacturers and electrical contractors. Assist procurement teams in vendor selection and contract development.
