This role will support the Manager, Asset Management in collating and analyzing operational data, and provides reports on the organization’s asset health and financial performance. Additionally, the incumbent will assist the Manager in maximizing the profitability of the assets, managing profit and loss, project SPVs, key contracts and obligations, shareholders and stakeholders’ relationships and supporting other departments to efficiently provide their services for the project and lead internal initiatives to drive long-term asset returns.

 

Core Responsibilities:

•    Analyze operational data and translating the data into weekly, monthly, and annual reports on the organization’s asset health and financial performance.
•    Monitor the group’s PPA and EPC contracts, exposure to risks of under-performance of assets and/or associated penalties and trigger potential renewal of contracts negotiations when nearing its expiry.
•    Participate in cross-functional discussions on asset and client management initiatives.
•    Participate in internal strategic consulting in a broad range of projects relating to pricing, growth strategy and business development. 
•    Liaise with functional teams within the organization across various geographies on data and information sharing.   
•    Any other duties or projects as assigned by the management, which are related to the main scope of Asset Operations.
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Graduate Degree in Finance/Economics/Engineering or a related field, preferably with knowledge in Data Analytics or background in Electrical Engineering. 
  • Preferably 1-2 years of working experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed as well.
  • Knowledge of DG photovoltaic projects (rooftops, ground mount, and floating PV) will have an added advantage.
  • Curiosity in understanding energy markets as well as strong affinity to financial figures and parameters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess positive attitude, willingness to learn, driven, and collaborative nature.
