Mission

Integrate ROPI structure for Operational Reporting team to ensure the activities of Operational Reporting for EDPR and the management, maintenance and continuous improvement of EDPR Operational Reporting system and Big Data and Analytics solution.

 

Main Role Responsibilities

  1. Operational Reporting
  • Ensure the preparation and distribution of EDPR operational reporting, metrics, KPIs and raw data.
  • Participate in the reporting and data strategy from a data perspective.
  • Support the definition of the business requirements for operational reporting data, calculations, design and portfolio.

 

  1. Systems and Stakeholders Knowledge
  • Ensure a complete functional knowledge of Operational Reporting system, Manual Editions System and Big Data and Analytics solution, to be able to define and ensure activities of applicational maintenance, management and improvements of the systems.
  • Understand the existent market offer for this area of the renewable business, discuss specific solutions with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the capacity of analysis of specific solutions that may be integrated in Operational Reporting system, Manual Editions System and Big Data and Analytics solution to improve its capabilities and effectiveness.

 

Main Role Responsibilities II

3. Operational Reporting System Management

  • Support the management of the Operational Reporting System, Manual Editions System and Big Data and Analytics solution, as the single integrated corporate source of operational data and support the specification and the improvements of future technical and functional upgrades.
  • Ensure the monitorization of operational processes related to operational reporting and data stakeholders;
  • Participate in the support of the “service desk” function to solve incidents and questions raised by the clients of Operational Reporting system, Manual Editions System and Big Data and Analytics solution.

 

4. . Maintenance and Evolution

  • Participate in the implementation of business requirements for operational reporting data, calculations, design and portfolio.
  • Coordinate, implement and maintain the Operational Reporting system, Manual Editions System and Big Data and Analytics solution (integration of new assets, update of signal lists and other reference/master data, creation and improvement of operational reports, creation and update calculations and data transformations).

 

Main Role Reponsibilities III

  1. Data Quality and Data Governance Support
  • Support data quality management (reliability monitoring of the whole data acquisition and storage chain);
  • Participation in the Data Governance process with the responsibility and accountability for the use of the data within his domain level and accountability for ensuring that the domain data is properly defined and used throughout the enterprise.
  • Support the creation and update of Data Governance Policies & Standards related with Operational Reports.

 

  1. Interaction with EDPR departments
  • Tracking and monitoring of operational processes with Operational Reporting stakeholders, including the assessment of the potential added value of the usage/outputs of Operational Reporting by EDPR employees.
  • Identify and support the definition of new operational business needs.

Academic Degree and Training Area

Bachelor’s in computer sciences, Data Science, Engineering or another that fits the desired profile (preferred).

Professional Experience Description

      1. Strong functional knowledge of Big Data and Analytics solutions (namely Microsoft Azure), Operational Reporting solutions and data analysis.
      2. Min. 2 year-experience (preferred). 

Languages Requirements

  1. English – Intermediate (B1/B2), and Portuguese or Spanish.

Computer Skills

      1. Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Databricks and Outsystem platforms, or other related big data solutions (mandatory).
      2. Good knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau or other data analysis and visualization tools.
      3. Valued knowledge of programming languages and databases (Visual Studio, Python, R, SQL).
      4. Valued knowledge of mobile app software integration.
      5. Valued knowledge of SCADA systems (preferred).
      6. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, advanced Excel, Project, PowerPoint).

Skills/Competence

      1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      2. Good experience in support and maintenance; sense of commitment.
      3. Solid communication skills.
      4. Strong capacity to embrace new challenges and to solve problems.
