Licensing Contract Manager

The Digital Global Unit (DGU) is an area of EDP SA and its mission is to challenge the organization to think differently and go beyond, in a context of increasingly frequent and faster technological, economic and social changes, creating and disseminating a digital friendly culture, favorable to the development and experimentation of new solutions that create value for the various stakeholders of the EDP Group. To support us in this role, we intend to recruit for the Licensing Contracts Management Department.

Main responsibilities:

Managing software licensing contracts, including:

  • Preparing negotiation processes, gathering the needs of the different areas and geographies of the EDP Group and interacting with the EDP Group Procurement unit;
  • Monitor contractual execution (financial and operational), including service levels, identifying deviations and proposing corrective measures in line with the EDP business units and other DGU teams;
  • Manage and optimize the use of licenses in line with the needs of the business units;
  • Develop partnership relations with suppliers, seeking the best medium/long term value offer;
  • Understand the needs of the different business units of the EDP Group, current and future;
  • Prepare and propose the budget and business plan for the contracts managed and control execution, identifying deviations and proposing corrective measures.


Looking for people with the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Economics, Computer Engineering or similar;
  • Minimum of 3 years professional in supplier management;
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills;
  • Knowledge of IT, namely software, is preferred;
  • Experience with SAM (Software Asset Management) tools preferred.
