Responsibilities 

  • Identify and develop strong pipeline of customers/projects.
  • Manage customer accounts to seek revenue growth opportunities and cross-sell other EDP Renewables products and services.
  • Evaluate potential PPA deals by analyzing requirements and financial viabilities with internal Corporate Development team.
  • Negotiate with partners for best business outcomes; always protecting the organization’s interests.
  • Support the BD manager in administering deals across all stages, from proposal to customer sign-off.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance in the preparation and submission of tender and contract documents.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal Project Integration team to align project timelines; including working with internal Supply Chain team on procurement and deployment of materials/ equipment to optimize business results.
  • Support BD manager with project requirements e.g. capital planning and funding, project registration, project financing, including but not limited to internal approval processes such as credit information and contracts, as required by the company. 


Requirements 

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing or Engineering
  • 1-2 years working experience in business development, proven experience in the solar renewal energy will have an added advantage 
  • Experience in financing and fund management is preferred
  • Strong financial awareness, analytical and problem-solving ability and good research skills
  • Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain high quality of deliverables
