Role Summary

​The Project Manager is the main responsible for leading the project team to complete projects on time, within budget and meeting quality parameters in line with the standards and expectations of the project. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage team of project engineers, who are responsible for tracking project progression according to schedule, within budget, contractual, quality and safety standards
  • Provide technical expertise as required on project 
  • Ensure that all drawings are completed and submissions to the authorities are carried out in a timely manner 
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams to identify project risks, barriers, and issues and propose possible solutions and mitigation strategies 
  • Attend and chair project kick off meetings, daily meetings and project closure meetings with clients and other parties 
  • Efficient management of resources and materials 
  • Control project financials and take corrective actions whenever necessary 
  • Adherence to quality and safety practices in the work place 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work with people from all levels 
  • Ensure that blocks cleared internal QC and T&C timely 
  • Compile material certs, mill certs, factory test reports, and all other documentation required for the project

 

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Engineering from a recognized University 
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience 
  • Excellent track record of ability to manage teams and projects (from tender to hand over)
  • ​Skilled in project management frameworks (eg. Gantt Chart/Scrum/PMP)

  • Specific experience in AutoCAD, PVSyst, Heliscope in an advantage 

  • Experience with solar design & installation will be an added advantage
